  Fantastic aside from 1 employee

  We started with another wonderful vacation at this resort. We brought new friends to show them the excellent service and amenities this resort offers. While the service was just as amazing as always throughout, we encountered an extremely rude employee in the Italian restaurant. He loudly yelled at our entire table when we greeted another family coming in with whom we had made friends while on vacation. Rather than politely asking us to respect other diners, he instead disrupted the entire dining room, frightening my mother, embarrassing our friends and family, and us as hosts as we had bragged about how wonderful the service was. We did have a few in our group who had never been to an all-inclusive or on vacation without their children and we addressed their behavior quietly and respectfully outside of a public setting as was more appropriate. The next night this same employee rudely would not seat 2 in our party who were celebrating their anniversary. He made the wife cry and quite honestly ruined their anniversary. We were planning to send new families down in March to try out our H10 membership, but are now second guessing if we want to send them down there and experience such rude service. The service here is always above and beyond and we love to interact with the staff and unfortunately this one rude employee soured the entire vacation.

  Great place for entire family!

  We take multiple international trips yearly. One yearly “fast and easy”destination for us is Mexico. We do love H10 resorts. Last year we stayed at H10 Conquistador in Canary Island and we had an amazing time. Our most frequented H10 Resort is Ocean Riviera Paradise. The entertainment staff puts forth a ton of effort to provide many different entertainment options for all ages. It was a bummer that the Beso adults only pool foam party is on Wednesdays only this year. Odd not Friday or Saturday??? As an adults only couple this year, we had to go to the kids/family Eden pool to partake in the foam pool party on Friday. It’s NOT the same lol. Surprisingly there was no foam party at all on Saturday which was disappointing. We are travel club members and we really have enjoyed our previous Beso adults only foam pool parties on a Friday or Saturday on past vacations, so that was disappointing. Guillermo aka Memo the pool waiter by the Beso adult only pool is awesome!! Really friendly, very attentive and super quick bringing drinks. Celeste at adults only Beso pool is our favorite member of the activities staff. She is so friendly, bubbly and funny. We have participated in crafts….bracelets, ceramic, painting bottles previously. We didn’t this year but it looked like everyone at those tables were enjoying themselves. There was a saxophone player by the Beso pool yesterday that was out of this world!!!! We heard him playing the night before at the adults only hooka party. We don’t smoke….but we entered anyway just to hear him…so talented!!! Another favorite activity of ours is the silent disco. We brought our friends with us last year and it was so funny watching people dancing to completely different music…there were 4 choices last year. Oddly only one music station this year but we still had a ton of fun. We love the guacamole station, it is so yummy eating the guacamole you make. The food is delicious. Our favorite restaurants are Sakura Japanese and La Locanda Italian. This year we saw people riding an electronic bull, that was so funny to watch. If you have toddlers, this is the place. They have so much for them….toy pony races, small bicycles within a blow up go cart racing space, jumpy blow up play houses. Teenagers have laser tag and an arcade game room. Adults only have their spaces that have no kids jumping on you. This resort truly does an excellent job catering to everyone. We had one complaint this year. We unfortunately couldn’t make it through any of the theater performances. The theater was so loud even at the very back (speakers were at front) our phone triggered every time we were there giving us a 30 min warning for permanent ear damage…so we decided to leave each time. It was really a shame because we usually attend every show especially Rock of Love which in the past has been our favorite. If you have ear plugs we recommend bringing them so you can attend the theater shows safely. All is all this really is a great resort. If they could add an adults only foam party on Saturday and lower the theater volume to a reasonable level….this resort will remain a favorite of ours.

  Don’t do it

  We arrived to the hotel and it took around 45 min to check in and get to our room even as a “privilege” visitor. They took our bags and that took another hour to arrive (we were wearing our winter clothes since we traveled that day) Restaurants are mostly closed during the day with the exception of one, which it seems like we never get there on time. There are no snacks anywhere as in other restaurants. Our restroom didn’t worked properly, water kept running and making noise. In addition you can hear everything and everyone from the rooms next to you. Beach service is non existence you got to get up and walk if you need anything. Towel service is horrible too. In addition beach is full of rocks.

  Anniversary vacation

  What a wonderful week. Thank you to all the staff especially our butler Felipe! We stayed in the privilege suits and everything was wonderful. Food was good drinks were amazing. We loved all the wildlife and meeting the resort cats. We hope to come back.

  A hotel stay that exceeded our expectations

  Very nice hotel with good food and several restaurants to choose from. Aylin from the guest service greeted us upon arrival and was available throughout our stay. She made sure that we were fine and helped us with reservations to the restaurants. We only stayed for two night but could for sure have stayed longer.
