Will Go Again
There were 7 family members, celebrating a 40th birthday. The staff spoiled us with a welcome cake, birthday song at breakfast. We loved the buffet, clean, lots of choices for all eaters. LaCondida & Thalia were our favourite restaurants besides the buffet. Coffee at Mike's Cafe should not be missed. If you have walking challenges, there are a lot stairs from the restaurants to the pool. Shady areas are not plentiful, so save your lounge chair early. It was windy & chair clips to hold towel down is a good idea. The beach is not big, so don't expect a long walk. Bowling - bring socks.

Won’t return
Just returned this resort is by no means a 5 star! Beach is small and coral in water. Entertainment is lame and nothing to do in early evening. Route 66 (restaurant) ran out of brisket, and other items two nights we tried to dine there. Food is bland and cold at buffets! Glad we only did 6 days! So hot in Hibachi restaurant we almost left and we were first time slot that night. Towel hut ran out of pool/beach towels..like really buy some more. Beach lifeguard approached us telling us it was his bthdy. and he had helped with an emergency situation earlier in the day and they didn’t tip him etc etc )more or less asking us for a tip) we finally had to walk away! Grounds dirty and trashy, cig butts etc Lazy river walkway was filthy. Pool had black algae and tiles at swim up bar chipped etc. Resort located in the middle of island/far from everything! No vendor/markets brought in like other resorts. Prices at souvenir shop high and know your jewelry prices before buying on site. Bring Tylenol/tums/suntan lotion etc as very expensive on site! ($28 for bottle of Pepto Bismol) Rated 2.5 and will not return. They have not kept this resort up and it’s 6 years old. Will not return or recommend! Luminous Lagoon was awesome!

Good
Great resort, travelled with family - very kid friendly. Loved the activities and food. Only disappointment was when we ordered coconut water at the pool.. they charged us for extra coconuts, and messed around with our receipt. Try to avoid charging to the room

Disappointed
I was extremely disappointed. When we checked out of our room, my boyfriend realized he had left his necklace on the nightstand. My boyfriend wears this necklace every day, and it is very special to him. He informed the staff, and they immediately returned to the room together. When they returned to the room and the necklace was missing, my boyfriend stated that it appeared that someone had gone through the room and checked everything, including the drawers, but had not yet been cleaned. Because we needed to get on the bus, they said they would call us to keep us updated. They never called, and when I called after I got home, they kept transferring my call to different people. I left a voicemail but received no response. We still do not have any answers. WWe are extremely disappointed. And the food was disgusting. The staff was friendly, but also a little annoying. We will not be returning.
