    Amazing OCS

    Had an amazing holiday 2nd April to 16th April. From arrival, our luggage was taking care of and taking to our room. Book in was easy and staff very helpful. The whole complex was spotless, toilets cleaned regularly. Room was cleaned every day. Meals were excellent, must do the japanese restaurant, what an experience. Jamaica was amazing, a big part of it was due to all the staff at ocean coral spring, thank you.

    Could have been great but not so unfortunately.

    We have just retuned from the resort so no better time to leave a review. Positives: - Warm welcome with very attentive staff on arrival. Privilege check in was straightforward and quick. - WiFi throughout the resort (other than at the water park area) was excellent and much needed due to high roaming charges with EE. - The sea view, Junior privilege suite was very well-equipped, cleaned to a good standard daily, roomy, had a well stocked mini bar daily and the hot tub/whirlpool bath on the balcony was superb. - Good selection of food available at the buffet across all meal times. We were seated quickly and didn’t have any issues with foods running out. Breakfast was particularly good. - The Italian (La Locanda) was a particular favourite. The lasagna is highly recommended. Brilliant service from the staff there. We can also recommend the Japanese themed restaurant due to the theatrics and setting. - Good ‘vibe’ around the main pool area. Music not too loud and plenty of space to play in the pool. Floaties are allowed. Negatives: - DO NOT use the safe in your room unless you have a lockable wallet within. We had 17,000 Jamaican dollars stolen despite it being in the LOCKED safe. We were asked a number of times by one staff member in particular (chap who showed us to our room) to remind him of what room number we were, claiming that he’d forgotten and liked to remember. When speaking to another English family, they too had had money stolen from their LOCKED safe (250usd) and similarly, were constantly asked what room number they were. - Once seated in the main buffet, service for drinks/water etc was very hit and miss. Some servers were excellent whilst others simply looked as though they couldn’t care less. What was very obvious is that visitors of Jamaican descent were prioritised across the resort, particularly for bar service. The ‘lobby’ bar staff were dreadful for this with us being ignored whilst other families being very well attended to. - Despite having a non-smoking policy across the resort (there is a designated smoking area), this policy is clearly not enforced. Every night, whilst in the whirlpool bath, my children were exposed to our neighbours smoking cannabis. - The hotel website states that the Privilege bar is open until 1:00am. This bar closes promptly at 10:30pm. This is a real shame as the staff there are fantastic - the best in the entire resort. - Watersports, VR experience and spa services are extortionately priced. I fancied half a day sea fishing. $850!! I passed on that. A 25 minute back massage is $105 - passed on that too. - The ‘lazy river’ has no flow so you find yourself having to paddle around it. Not as relaxing as was hoped. - If you want a sunbed, particularly in the privilege area, be prepared to get up VERY early. Most had gone by 4:45am! When you did manage to get one, the privilege service for the most part was very good. - Before our arrival, we had contacted both the hotel directly and also via Tui to request the ‘two double bed’ option in our room given that are children are aged 13 and 11 and hence a little too big to be sharing a sofa bed. This request was ignored and a sofa bed it was. Fortunately, the children said that the sofa bed itself was comfy but space was an issue. The question is, would we go back? Sadly, no as the theft of money, and certain families being prioritised spoiled what could have been a superb, family holiday.

    An amazing family holiday experience!

    Took our kids and grandchildren here, and everyone had an amazing vacation; the pool, activities, food, and rooms were excellent… and the service was unsurpassed! We will definitely look forward to coming back as soon as possible! Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip here in Jamaica!

    A Five Star Thank You

    After 11 days spent at Ocean Coral we are leaving feeling fully refreshed and recharged. The main reason for such a wonderful vacation was all down to the fabulous customer service we experienced from Andre Higgins. He truly understands and delivers a high level of customer service, listening to minor needs we had, with a calm and assuring demeanour. He proactively checked in every day with us and nothing was ever too much trouble. Equally, a huge the thank you to Brison who helped us with booking our restaurants every day and again would message us every day to check in. Brison made us feel well looked after and ensured we had a positive dining experience every time. H10/Ocean are very lucky to have Andre and Brison on their team. One reason we chose this hotel was the number and variety of a la carte restaurants which did not disappoint. Shantel and Rockel looked after us well in the Privilege restaurant and Garfield was superb in LaCoachella. We loved the liveliness of the hotel, the bowling, Mike’s coffee shop with a wonderful variety of excellent coffees, The hub of every afternoon. Equally, we loved the serenity of the beach areas and the swim up rooms. Thank you Team Ocean for a truly relaxing and memorable vacation.

    Exceptional resort

    Excellent location, every one was extremely nice. Ray Vaughn greeted me and took me to my room.joyce from the restaurant was pleasant and made every meal a treat.reynaldo and Samantha at the bar was pleasant. March the life guard was friendly and made you feel relaxed. The food was outstanding
