Marvellous Mexican resort
Even though it rained hard for a couple of the days, we had an amazing time. The staff were fabulous, the food was great, the beach was gorgeous, and Alejandro had us playing games in the lobby. All in all, wonderful. Thanks, Alejandro and the rest of the team!!

Spectacular
Everything from beginning to the end was just perfect. Especially staff went out of their way including the hourly and nightly entertainment. Would book and stay again without hesitation. Looking forward to our next getaway. Miguel and Alma by the pool were terrific and kept the atmosphere buzzing.

Really good, not great
Overall, a nice stay with mostly highlights. However, after staying at the Finest Punta Cana last year, I have to say this Dreams Natura just isn’t quite as nice. Pros: - Had great meals and not a single bad one. Including one of the tastier buffets with real flavor in most dishes. - Buffet was open for 3 meals a day, every day. This made it convenient when needing to feed kids. - For all the complaints about the beach, we found it to be pretty nice. The sand is fine, they clean the seaweed every morning. The water is nothing to swim in, but there’s plenty of pools. - Housekeeping was on top of it, and never once left us without or came while we were in the room. - Excellent kids club. The Explorer’s Club was a lot more structured with hourly activities than I’ve seen elsewhere. The staff really interact with the kids and immediately get to know them. But with their pager system where they can buzz you, it sometimes felt like they were trying to get us to pick up our kids shortly after dropping them off. - Really entertaining nightly shows and good variety. - We booked a garden view which overlooks the next door Royalton, but we were upgraded to a partial ocean view – but overlooking the mangroves on the other side of the hotel, not facing in towards the pools. This was a huge advantage as noise was never an issue for us, but we heard from many that were near the lobby how loud and late the music was. - Alexa in the kids Explorers Club and bartender Braulio. Cons: - The biggest one is that it just doesn’t feel that upscale. It’s nice, but like maybe B+ nice. There’s been a lot of reviews of how worn the property is for being only 5ish years old, and at first I thought ‘who let’s a little chipped paint ruin a vacation?’ but after you’re there a few days, it sinks in. The primary sidewalk to get towards the kids Explorers Club was closed for maintenance the 5 days we were there. An elevator was down at all times. Worn furniture in the restaurants. Chipping/peeling paint, etc. - Booked it partially for the smaller layout but that proved to not provide any faster/easier access to get around. The whole place felt a bit like a maze so if you were trying to get to something, it takes longer than it should. Guess its good for getting your steps in on vacation. - Lack of bottles of liquor in the mini bar – only 4 cans of beer a day. - Pictures on the Hyatt website showed the waterslides with adult and young child riding together, but they strictly enforce the 110cm height minimum for the 3 main yellow slides. There are the kiddie ones but they empty directly on to the pool floor. - The bathroom design has a lot to be desired. You have the toilet and shower next to each other with a frosted pane of glass between and 2 sliding frosted panes of glass. Not much privacy when traveling as a family.

Corezone
Jhosset from the Corezone was amazing, he was nice to everyone there and I loved everything about the hotel in general. I would recommend for everyone to go here at least once in a life time and the pool/zipline/water slides were fun, it’s great

Overall experience
Met Leo the first day. He is the sweetest. Showed us around and helped us with cabs and such. Cute as a button with AMAZING energy! The food wasn’t that great. Except for a few exceptions. The overall experience was pretty good although I would not recommend coming for more than 10 days if you are a foodie. The rooms are nice. The swim up suite was fantastic! Room service was pretty good and all the staff we encountered was pretty great .
