A perfect getway to Grenada
What a wonderful experience at Mount Cinnamon! Every meal was a surprise and a tremendous treat. The apartments are cozy and become a second home in a matter of hours -- tastefully furnished, roomy, and comfortable. The staff cannot be more helpful and accommodating. The sandy beach is beautiful, with lots of umbrellas, loungers. The pool, while small, is also beautiful, with a little waterfall. All the other guests were friendly and so respectful of other's desires for rest and relaxation. I cannot say enough good things, and I am eager to return to Mount Cinnamon.

Great Island Experience
Basic Info: Trip from the U.S. to Grenada in April 2025. Two adults and two children (ages 11 and 8). Accommodations and Amenities: We stayed in a two bedroom villa near the top of the hill. The room had a view of everything: the ocean, the town, and the mountain/rainforest. Our villa was much larger than we expected. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax, with two good sized bedrooms and three baths. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean, if a bit spartan. The outdoor space was a great way to wake up in the morning or relax at night. The beach was well kept and quiet with lots to do (including a volleyball court, shuffleboard, beach tennis, etc) and with a nice (albeit slightly overpriced) bar and restaurant. The included breakfast offered a good variety. Pastries, fruit, juice, toast and cereals were offered in “buffet” format and each diner was then able to order one “hot” dish. Our kids at their share of avocado toast with a very nice chili sauce, as well as Grenadian spiced French toast. I tried the rotating local specialty most days, as well as the saltfish and sweet potato hash. All were very good and sufficient in size to fill you without leaving you stuffed. We at dinner at the restaurant once. The food was generally well done, with very fresh ingredients, but you certainly paid for the convenience. Overall, the accommodations and amenities exceeded our expectations. One thing to note: if you are expecting American or European “luxury” (think: Four Seasons) this is not your place. It is a clean, well-maintained boutique island hotel, but it is a boutique island hotel at the end of the day. Our purpose in reserving a hotel is for a clean place to sleep with convenient food and activity options when we desire. Mount Cinnamon fit the bill and then some. Staff: The staff were friendly and helpful at every turn. We received plenty of recommendations for food and activities off the resort, which is always appreciated. We come to a place to visit that place, not to visit a hotel situated in that place. During our stay, all of our requests were attended to. For example, at one point we needed a ride from the port back to the hotel. Called the front desk and ten minutes later a taxi arrived. Another day, the staff arranged a full day guided island tour. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He listened to our requests and made suggestions, but ultimately left the schedule to us. We ended up driving up the southern and eastern coasts, driver pointing out plants, fruits, landmarks, locals and all sorts of interesting information about the island’s history, present day, economy and culture. He stopped to grab fresh star fruit off a tree for the kids to try. We took a tour of River Antoine and Belmont Estate, then hiked down to the Seven Sisters waterfalls and went for a swim. One of the best days we’ve had on a trip so far. Room to Improve: 1) Communication could be clearer. While our guided tour turned out to be a GREAT experience, we were very uncertain about what, exactly we were getting going into it, despite several attempts to gain clarity. 2) At a restaurant as expensive as it is, drinks should be kept full and tables should be checked more frequently. I don’t want to have to seek out and flag down a server for another glass of water or a coffee refill! 3) Advertise the weekly activities better to help people plan. 4) Would be nice if the beach restaurant had longer hours and perhaps more casual local fare. Overall: Great stay at a well maintained and clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff who seem genuinely concerned about your experience and very happy/proud to share their country with guests.

Ticked all the boxes and then more
We were fortunate to have spent 8 nights in a villa at Mount Cinnamon and loved the experience. Whilst a resort, it felt more like a private gated community, lots of space, very few people, tranquil and peaceful. The views are spectacular and a great location, at the best end of Grand Anse beach, convenient for local restaurants + supermarket and a short walk to Morne Rouge bay. Excellent breakfasts, best omlettes ever + great staff. If I was being picky, the pool has its limitations (not a problem with the beach and never needed / wanted to use anyway) and beach restaurant service was a bit slow on occasion). But all very trivial compared to the overall experience.

Holiday
Amazing hotel and location. The grand Anse beach and the sea were gorgeous. Big thanks to Laura and the team for helping myself, my brother and his wife organise a surprise for my parents! A very special occasion! And the food was so bloody good! Will definitely be going back

FIVE STAR in my opinion!
My opinion of a FIVE STAR hotel from atmosphere to staff professionalism and courtesy. The tranquility, peace and welcomeness was nothing short of remarkable. The staff, namely Ms Laura (management) and Ms Pierre (housekeeping) made sure we were comfortable and moreover happy during the entirety of our stay. Very private beach access and restaurant/lounge right on the best beach in Grenada! Traveling with a 6 year old can be challenging. However, the staff made it their priority to ensure my family of 4 were all having the time of our lives!!! I would recommend this hotel over several other hotels in Grenada. I have frequented various other decent hotels such as the Allamanda, Siesta, Radisson, etc. However, nothing tops the feeling of security and freedom that Mount Cinnamon provided me. Security was on point as well as the location to the grocery stores and restaurants. A great big THANK YOU to Mount Cinnamon Hotel Grenada for your warm hospitality and dedication to client satisfaction and overall happiness. I'm definitely going back to Grenada next year and no question that Mount Cinnamon has become my new home away from home!
