  Style over substance

  Very luxurious site, good room excellent beach and pool location. Falls down on details, coffee machine and hair dryer not working on arrival took days to resolve coffee machine, new hairdryer ran too hot to be safe. Very friendly concierge but most contact was online rather than personal.

  Unforgettable stay at The Level

  Me and my wife recently had a getaway at The Level all inclusive. Daniel, our concierge made our entire stay so pleasant from making dinner reservations, booking spa appointments and even accommodating our specific requests, he came in handy.   50th birthday with friends at Melia Punta Cana Beach with Eddie and Juan

  Juan Adbricoles and Eddy Sambo have been my concierge at The Level adults only at Melia Punta Cana Beach my last three visits. They are so attentive and detail oriented that I reached out to them a few weeks before my trip to let them know I was coming back with friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. They were ready and waiting for me upon check-in and made sure that every request I made was accommodated for my group. From making dinner, reservations to booking spa appointments and recommending activities, they make the experience effortless. I was even surprised and delighted with one last birthday cake to finish off my milestone birthday at Muoi restaurant. Five stars for Eddie and Juan and I’ll see you next time!

  Our Stay at Meliá Punta Cana

  We had a wonderful time at Meliá Punta Cana. The food was great, from the buffets to the restaurants on the resort. The guest service agent Rebeca Sanchez was very helpful during our stay and answered all our questions as well as Robert the concierge.

  Our stay at this all-inclusive hotel was overall very enjoyable, with some aspects standing out as exceptional while others could benefit from improvement. Here's a detailed breakdown of our experience: Butler Service: One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional butler service provided by Darwin at The Level. From the moment we arrived, Darwin made sure our experience was seamless and stress-free. He took care of all the planning for activities and excursions, leaving us to simply relax and enjoy our vacation. Not only did he arrange everything efficiently, but he also offered great recommendations for local attractions, and dining option. It truly made our stay more enjoyable, knowing that we had someone so reliable taking care of the details. Accommodations: The accommodations were perfect for a couple looking for a comfortable and romantic retreat. Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the overall decor was tasteful and cozy. It offered a peaceful environment where we could unwind after a day of activities or lounging by the beach. Beach and Pool: The hotel’s beach and pool areas were absolutely stunning. The beach itself was pristine, with soft sand and crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming or simply relaxing under the sun. The pool area was equally impressive, with plenty of lounge chairs and a great infrastructure that made it easy to spend the entire day there. Whether you prefer to swim or soak in the sun, both the beach and pool offered an idyllic setting. Food: The food was generally good, offering a variety of options at the buffet and à la carte restaurants. However, we felt that there was an opportunity to elevate the tropical experience. While there were many delicious dishes, the cuisine could have been more reflective of the local flavors and ingredients. A few more tropical-inspired dishes with a distinct local flair would have truly enhanced the dining experience and made it more memorable. Still, we found the overall food quality to be satisfying and enjoyed our meals. Service Level: While the overall service was friendly, we did feel that there was room for improvement, particularly in terms of wait times. The waitstaff, although polite, seemed to take longer than expected to attend to requests, whether it was at the pool bar or in the restaurant. Room cleaning was also a bit slower at times. While the staff was always courteous, the efficiency of service could have been improved to allow for quicker response times, ensuring that guests spend less time waiting and more time enjoying their vacation. Final Thoughts: Overall, our experience at this all-inclusive hotel was very positive. The excellent service from Darwin truly set the tone for a relaxing and worry-free vacation. The accommodations, beach, and pool facilities were top-notch, offering comfort and relaxation in abundance. However, there’s a bit of room for improvement when it comes to the food offerings and service speed. Despite these minor flaws, we would definitely consider returning for another peaceful getaway.
