What We Love
- It's all-inclusive: the food, the drinks, the everything is sensational.
- Teeing off at the Marina Vallarta Golf Course that's a coconut's throw from the resort.
- Dropping the kids off at the kid's club then making a beeline for the swim-up bar.
- Melting into a massages in an open-air cabana.
- Swimming, floating and diving into the largest pool in Vallarta - zero-entry point for kids!
- The all-consuming kids' activities: arts & crafts, ping pong, foosball, arcade games and more.
- Visiting the landmark, the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe & zip lining in the nearby jungle.
- The nightly shows - the dancers cut a rug with everything from retro to traditional cultural dances.
- Hanging at the Marieta Islands and Los Arcos National Marine Park. Both are not far away.
Things to Know
- The resort is just 10 minutes from the airport so your family's vacay will begin in a snap.

- You can go whale watching and deep sea fishing. Go ahead - take the plunge.
- There's jet ski and motor boat rentals plus parasailing, scuba, water skiing & more.
- Hop on this option: there's horseback riding. You can't miss this.
- When you're drying off, you can play tennis, hit the climbing wall or batting cage.

Great location. Great pool/beach
For PV you can't get much better of a location in proximity to the airport and the marina. Food is good. Could use a little bit more variety as most dishes are of the carribean/mexican variety. Snack bar is decent, serving nachos, burgers, hot dogs and pizza. Lunch buffet we found to be better than supper. Fish house al a carte is 10/10. Mole & tacos I'd give a 7/10. Both light and dark beer on tap is Tecate, which we found to be good. The marina has a market on Thursday, I would definitely recommend going to see all the various vendors and food stands. Nightly entertainment- 3/10 Shows were very poorly rehearsed and at one point the performers were laughing at how ridiculous it all was. Music was too loud and lasers on stage aren't programmed properly so they constantly blind the audience. The resort should spend some money on an entertainment company. Also no bar anywhere near the entertainment was kind of annoying too, having to walk all the way up the stairs to the 1 bar that's open past 6pm that is the lobby bar. What was nice, is that most nights in the lobby there would be live music right by the bar with comfortable seating and a great view of the resort. Room was the standard mexican hotel room, thermostat cranked way down but still probably 22 in the room, it was comfortable though. Hot water was a little hit and miss during busy times. Beach is great, pool is great with great service. Special thanks to Israel by the pool for always keeping the beer supply steady. We tipped accordingly. Overall, we would come back

Melia stay in Dec 2024
We really enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful and the pool and beach area, amenities, staff, food, and entertainment are exceptional. To note, the climbing wall has been retired and we had a few issues with room key access, but otherwise an incredible resort and we would love to return. Extra shout out to Gonzalo (Nexus tours), Luis (who ran the kayaking service), and the bartenders and servers (and kitchen staff) for all of their assistance and expertise. Highly recommend!

Family vacation
Erika was amazing my daughter 4 years old didn't want leave. We used the services 4 times during our 8 day stay. My son 5 years. It gave my wife and I qualitytime for ourselves. Knowing our kids were safe allowed us to have better experience ❤️😊❤️

Amazing
We had a fantastic time at Meliá Vallarta, their staff was amazing, specially Antonio Garcia (the Spaniard), he was always there for us, making sure that we were always taking care of.

All around pleasant and comfortable
Happy to be back in Puerto Vallarta at the Meliá! The property is comfortable and welcoming and the staff is great! From the bell captain Angel to Pablo in the lobby bar, everyone was delightful and so accommodating. Enjoyed the restaurants and the special events. Looking forward to my next trip.
