  Relaxing at Majestic Elegance with beautiful pools and ocean

  This was such a relaxing trip. Osvaldy was the friendliest, most helpful & made it so much more memorable and personable. We tried all of the restaurants which we all found dishes we loved. The drinks were unique and amazing-our favorites included the lemon drops, majestic, and strawberry mojitos.

  Great All inclusive resort

  Great all-inclusive resort with fantastic staff. Huge shout out to Angelina, Maxima, Santa and Marilania at the pool/beach bar for their fun loving attitudes and excellent service. Special thanks to Joel Samuel and Jose for taking such good care of our needs from extra towels to pickle ball, spa and dinner reservations.

  Great stay at the Majestic Elegance! (honest review)

  Hey everyone just returned from a great week away at the Majestic Elegance. I know how hard it can be trying to plan the perfect trip and sifting through reviews. I'll do my best to give you an accurate overview of this property. A little longer read but honest and worth your time. First the good, Hotel- the hotel itself was great. Well maintained, great looking, the entrance way where the front desk is wonderful, the lobby and massive staircase leading down to the main bar and second lobby area is stunning. The property is beautiful and very lush and well maintained. Palms and flowers everywhere. Between me, my wife and kids we used just about every bath room on site and all were sparkling clean including those near the beach. Rooms- we were in a standard junior suite with a jacuzzi and a balcony over looking the pool side. Room was great. Very clean, everything in working order. Sometimes at hotels the AC makes it cold for sleeping, not here, our was fully digital and we could set the temp or fully turn it off which was essential. Very spacious shower. Our only complaint was that the shower and toilet are separate but are next to each other and the two sinks are located next to them as opposed to having one fully enclosed bathroom where everything is in one room. we would have liked to see the sinks in the same enclosed room as the other bathroom amenities to add a bit more privacy. This is very minor and did not impact our opinion of the room, overall the room was great. Pool- Awesome! Its long and spans the length of the entire property with a swim up bar in the middle and another full service bar towards the opposite end of the beach. The pool was always lively, the bar staff and entertainment crew were great everyday. The drinks were always strong, great value and lots of non alcoholic fun drinks for the kids. Beach-Beautiful and very clean. The wonderful turquoise Punta Cana water did not disappoint and was always warm. Some people have mentioned its not big but its great. We never had to wait for lounge chairs and it felt more intimate. The beach crew are amazing at playing games with all the kids and adults. The beach volleyball court and daily lunch out on the sand and beach bar were perfect! Staff- staff were awesome. check in was a breeze, our flights were delayed returning home and front desk helped us secure a late check out as well. staff at all the restaurants, bars, the gym were great and friendly. our bell hop on day one, took the time to explain every aspect of the hotel to us and went out of his way to joke with our young sons, Manuel, you are the man! Next are things that could have been better but were not bad at all Food- the food was not bad it mainly lacked variety. A few things were switched up daily at the main buffet (breakfast and dinner) and at lunch at the beach restaurant but we felt more variety would have been great. The quality was sometimes hit and miss as well, but again the food was good, definitely not a deal breaker and did not affect our trip one bit. The full service restaurants were ok. The steakhouse and Japanese restaurant were great, the Italian was so so and we were unable to get reservations for the French but others on the resort said it was good. The beach restaurant was our least favorite but that was based more on the menu items. Entertainment- the crew at the pool and beach during the day were amazing and energetic whether with kids or adults, very impressed. However the shows at night were not the best. Some of the day crew were included in the shows. It didn't seem to be the fault of the performers themselves, more so the planning of it as the shows could have been smoother and of better quality. Other places we've stayed have had shows that felt like we were in Vegas, these could use some fine tuning. The night club is coco's and looked awesome however we traveled with our two young sons so we didn't use it. Others we spoke to at the resort said it was a good time each night. Again the entertainment was just ok, it did not impact our trip negatively at all. Caribbean street, located on the North side of the resort is where the sports bar, casino and late night food spot is. Very lively at night and good place to grab a snack. coffee- LOL. this is me just being picky! There was no option to get a coffee at either of the pool bars or on the beach. Good coffee, (espresso, cappuccino and many other options) could only be grabbed at the main lobby bar or inside the restaurant on the beach. Seems picky I know but when you're on vacay, especially with kids running around sometimes the little things like this matter a little more. Gym-if your into your fitness on vacay (i used it a few times) the gym here is great. free weights, machines, cardio they have it all whether you are pushing serious weight or just want to go for a run. As promised a little long but honest. We really loved our time at the Majestic Elegance and was the perfect family trip. Everything was good, most things great and nothing was bad, just a few areas where they could improve. This resort has lively action for younger crews or couples and quiet spots for families and older couples. We would give this resort a 4/4.5 out of 5. We would go right back again next week if we could. Book it you will not be disappointed!

  Majestic Elegance a Great Resort

  Just returned from our couples vacation - all seniors - family (we had 5 rooms) Majestic Elegance Adult Club (Jan.9-16,2025). Beautiful property, loved the sunbeds & chairs (always could find extra chairs). VIP service was amazing. Shout out to our Butler Victor, always there to help us (as we are older and had mobility issues & arranged golf cart shuttle to front of hotel). Shout out to to VIP BAR ladies, our special “Santa”, along with Angelina, Marilomia (always with a smile & always asking if we need anything. Last, but not least Joel (VIP poolside), whether we needed towels or assistance… always making sure the “familia” was happy. Thank you for a lovely stay. Rooms were well appointed, housekeeping wonderful, food was good (you could always find something to eat), just surprised serving staff never wore gloves. Beach was beautiful, but ocean a little rough for my liking (although my husband went in every day). I only wish the pool was heated, it was very cold (perhaps because by the afternoon it collects shade from the building). Overall, a great vacation & we all had a good time……the staff really go out of their way to make sure your trip is enjoyable.

  Amazing time at Majestic Elegance!

  I just returned from my 7-day trip in Punta Cana. It was my first time there and first time staying at an AI. There were 11 of us in total, over 5 rooms. For 9 of my friends in the group it was their second visit. Our butler was Henry-WOW what an amazing guy. He checks up on you to see if you need anything during your stay. He made our reservations for the spa, dinner shuttle to/from and ensured our 5 rooms were in the general area of each other. At the Club beach bar Felix and Rosa took care of us all week. They were both friendly and efficient. At the Club pool bar Ishmael and Wallum kept us entertained all week. They are so fun. They had us laughing all week. I also want to mention the waiter, Robin. We had him our first night at the steak house, he was very welcoming and treated us like family. We had him again the next day at Sea and See and he remembered us. We would request him anytime we went to either restaurant. I cannot stress enough how amazing, hardworking, friendly and appreciative all the staff were. I can see why my friends wanted to return. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and having a great time.
