Feb 19, 2025Another amazing week at the Tropical!
Just returned from my 3rd visit at this resort. Stayed Febuary 7th-14th booked with air transat. This was my husband’s and 18 yr olds first visit. They loved this resort and it was a wonderful family vacation and they’ve allready asked if we can return. The main lobby has been renovated it looks amazing! Thank You Danny for your wonderful service at the bubbles beach bar and a special thank you to Claudio and Andreas. It was so nice to be back and see so many kind and familiar faces. The Mexican, Blue Lagoon, Italian and Brazilian Alacartes were all amazing! My husband commented that one of the steaks he had was one of the best he’s ever eaten. You can make your reservations from 9-11 am at guest services. I had no issues booking them either as posted in other reviews! We also enjoyed the buffet with no complaints. The lunches on the VIP beach that was brought to us whenever we asked were always very good also! The sushi bar at the beach was also good . The beach opens at 8 am. I would be there early in the mornings to get us a nice spot. We never had any issues. We loved the many beds and huts at this resort that you can lounge on. You can lie there and just hear the ocean waves. They put on a superbowl party and a superbowl watch party at Cofressi next door. It was a great time. The foam party was so much fun! You can book photo sessions free of charge and then only choose the photos you like for 12 dollars a photo I believe. There is a little gift shop and cigar and jewellery shop on site. I did find this time a little more litter on the beach and the stair area going down to the beach. I believe that a lot of it is from tourists which makes me very sad… I saw people flicking cigarette butts carelessly in the sand and in the VIP beach area as well as toothpicks and garnishes from their cocktails. The resort workers work hard to maintain the resort and it saddens me that people litter n throw their trash about for others to pick up! But I do feel that beach clean up is an area for improvement. I also wish there were a few more tables and bar stools at the pool bar for hanging out there at night time. We did have an issue with our patio door I will say that it was fixed very promptly upon request by maintenance. Thank you Lifestyle Tropical for an amazing week of fun in the sun! We can’t wait to come back again!

For the cheapest trip I could book it was great. Our room was decent, buffet had a good selection. Big pool. The beach has vendors which I liked. Make sure to talk the prices down. So many bad reviews about water pressure. It was fine. Not the hottest but not cold. Suck it up. Lots of Karen reviews. It’s fine come and enjoy it.

Who's Bitchin?
Is this a five star hotel? No. Is it value for the money and an amazing experience? Absolutely. Staff are amazing, from the entertainment to the groundskeepers. Food was very good, if you went hungry it was your own fault. Not really a beach destination but the pools and relaxation alternatives (ying yang spa) outweigh the beach. Able to use the 2 other sister hotels (Confresi, Presidential Suites) amenities as well. Shops, casino, golf, shows all available within a 10 minute walk. Shuttle bus available to travel between resorts to find your perfect day. If you don't enjoy this resort you are either a Karen or have to give your head a shake or balls a tug. Will you find something wrong? Yeah, if you look for it. So the water pressure wasn't strong enough in the shower or there was too many seeds in your watermelon at breakfast. Disclaimer - Not a starstruck first timer DR traveller.

AMAZING SPA SERVICE
AMAZING SPA SERVICE This was one of the best massages I've had, if not the best. I would highly recommend Suna. She provided a 90 min. deep tissue massage and stone treatment. The pressure of the massage and her magical hands were spectacular. She concentrated on finding all of my areas that needed attention. She provided some reflexology on my feet and improved the neuropathy in my toes! Then she gracefully moved to the hot stones. FABULOUS. We are here for another week and I'm getting another massage! Thank you for helping me!!!!
