Horrible experience from the start and would strongly recommend you book elsewhere. Booked 4 rooms, three oceanfront suites and one ocean view double. Checked in to find one suite with AC not working , no towels and no soap. Second oceanfront suite was missing the couch (just a random coffee and end tables in the sitting room), no waters and an inoperable sliding glass door to the balcony, phone not working so we couldn’t even reach the front desk. On top of all of this, the rooms are tired and worn down and there were stains on the sheets. The front desk staff was unaccommodating and unapologetic which is insulting considering we just paid 9k for this awful experience. Spend your money elsewhere, this place needs a total overhaul and some customer service training.

The room was okay, considering our deck overlooked an abandoned laundry room. The three young people Victoria, Edgar and Damian who did the water aerobics every day were great and lots of fun. It was very helpful that they did them using both Spanish and English.

Exceptional Experience at Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta Our first stay at the Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta exceeded all expectations, leaving us already eager to return! The resort’s location is postcard-perfect, surrounded by breathtaking scenery straight out of a travel magazine. A unique highlight was the accessibility of Fat Bike Rentals just outside the property, allowing us to explore the charm of nearby Bucerías—don’t miss a meal at The Fat Boy Restaurant!—as well as Marina/Paradise Plaza and the local Farmers Market. This added a fun and flexible dimension to our trip. The beach is a standout feature, ideal for serene walks in either direction. Heading toward Puerto Vallarta or Bucerías offers stunning views and the chance to stop by local gems like Oye Henry’s. Dining options at the resort are diverse and satisfying. The buffet provides plenty of variety, and the sports bar is a comfortable spot to enjoy NHL playoffs or other major events in a relaxed atmosphere. The adult infinity pool is a haven for relaxation, offering stunning views and exceptional service. Marco ensures fair implementation of the lounger and towel policy, creating a balanced experience for all. Meanwhile, Manuel’s attentive service adds to the poolside perfection. Axcel from the marketing team deserves special mention for his professionalism and thoughtful guidance. His expert tips, including a clever remedy for sunburn, added an extra layer of care to our stay. The Skybar is another must-visit spot. With panoramic views and unforgettable sunsets, it’s a true highlight of the resort. Rogelio’s warm hospitality and his skill in crafting the perfect spicy margarita enhanced the experience even further. We also appreciated the altitude upgrade, which streamlined restaurant reservations and provided access to spectacular sunset views from the Skybar. Room for Improvement: The only small disappointment was the lack of a king bed option in the ocean-view altitude rooms. Adding this feature would make an already incredible experience even better. In summary, the Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta delivers exceptional service, unparalleled views, and top-tier amenities that make for an unforgettable vacation. We’re counting down the days until our return in April 2025 that is already booked!

One week good stay
As a Riu Gold member, we went for a change, with some worry reading bad reviews . Booked Deluxe Tropical View room and paid more for 2 beds with Air Canada vacations. Staff: all friendly.kind. just have to mention Michel & Gilberto at the adult only pool ,great service. They do need more white loungers . chairs. Saw some Upset people. Room : got a big room. Large deck, with a peek a boo view on 3rd floor Bldg #6 Had some issues, toilet tank moved , one ceiling fan not working. No tv remote. They should leave a questionare, so they know the issues in rooms etc. Housekeeping: soso. We tipped. Yet hard to get coffee pkgs. Daily. Food & bars : Went to all the Al la carte and enjoyed and buffet Sandwich at take a bite cafewhata voww Snack grills. Taco and chicken strips good. Even checked out the Rooftop. What a view !! Sigue con el buen trabajo Joaquin
Joaquin welcomed us each time we were at the buffet or at a le carte. He started a conversation and made us smile. Joaquin provided excellent service and follow up. His smile is contagious. Joaquin made sure we had everything we needed and chatted with the children. He made my vacation a memorable one for sure. Estaria encantado de Volver a Krystal de nuevo.
