STUDENT/YOUTH GROUPS POLICY - In order to maintain a family-oriented environment, Iberostar Hotels and Resorts will be implementing a policy directed at student/youth groups. Students/youth are considered by the hotel as any person between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy instituted for all bookings traveling in the months of March and April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
- All student/youth groups must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Upon check-in, each group will be required to make a refundable cash deposit of USD $200.00 per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.
- In the event that any member(s) from the group engage in inappropriate behavior disrespecting Hotel staff and/or other guests or causing physical damages to the facilities, the hotel management reserves the right to expel the entire group without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

Great Time
We had an unbelievable experience at the JOIA Rose Hall. From the beautiful beach to the amazing staff, we will most definitely be making a trip back. Some special shout outs to Cassandra, Trishbone, Travis and Shavoyne at the pool bar, delicious drinks and always a good time! Ash and the rest of the entertainment crew made the trip all the more fun. Latoya at the french restaurant had amazing suggestions ! So many amazing people, thank you to everyone for making our trip so special.

Tourists trap
Dinner restaurants were impressive. Staff was hit and miss on service. Went on a dressel Montego Bay excursion. Don’t buy anything from the shopping experience at Sam’s place. Cheaper at the airport. Same bottle of rum was $10 cheaper and rum cream was $15 less. Left with disappointment due to the fact this is the chosen establishment to shop by the Dressel dive shop crew. They must get a kick back. FYI the gift shop at the hotel was $25+ higher on same bottle of rum. Lesson learned

Loved it!
We visited Iberostar Joia Rose Hall in September, from the UK, for 14 nights. We were concerned reading some of the reviews, prior to our visit, but we had no reason to worry. It was our first visit to this hotel and we really enjoyed it. We had a lovely comfortable room, with a sea view, which was kept really clean by Tanesha throughout our stay. We loved the double sink at each end of the bathroom. The hotel was well kept and cleaning throughout the whole of the resort was constant. The first morning after our arrival we were up early to check out all the facilities. We were greeted by Stephen (Walker). He told us of all the facilities, the daily entertainment that was on by the pool and answered any questions we had. He really had done his homework! I believe Stephen is a relatively new employee and he really did impress us. What an asset he is to the Joia Team! He checked in with us every day of our stay and impressed us so much. Deivy, the Entertainment Manager, also impressed us. He runs an excellent team and appears to have a great rapport with both guests and staff alike. He certainly created a great atmosphere joining in with the dancing etc at the nightly entertainment etc . He is another great asset to the Joia Team! Every member of staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the various restaurants and selection of food available. It was a nice touch having our lunch served to our cabanas on our ‘lazy days’!! The service at the beach and at the pools was great, with plenty of staff to keep the cocktails flowing. This hotel has everything we liked and we will certainly be returning in the near future. Thank you to you all!

Would recommend to friends and family.
The employees here are the most dedicated to your comfort and enjoyment. The food is unique and very well presented and delicious. The beds and pillows are most comfortable. ,, negatives I see are the lack of trash receptacles throughout the area. And as a smoker , ash cans were few and far between.
