Our stay at Joia Iberostar in Montego Bay was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was truly magnificent. This was our second time in Jamaica, and it definitely won’t be our last. One important note for anyone considering the club membership: while there are perks, only the black category actually grants access to the full Joia benefits. Unfortunately, the other categories don’t give you much at this property, which in our opinion makes them not really worth it. We honestly wished someone had explained and clarified this to us from the beginning, so we would have known what to expect. Thankfully, we found Xiomi, who was incredibly helpful, patient, and guided us through everything. Thanks to her, our experience felt smooth and enjoyable despite the membership confusion. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to come back again!

Family trip
Christopher and Omar my butler was amazing the best we every had the food was good we had lunch at the room every day at 1pm thanks to my butler Jamaica is amazing we love the beach the pool side everything about the hotel was great the entertainment was great we will be back next year hopefully

Nothing short of amazing !
After reading the reviews I was expecting the resort to be wonderful but our experience at Joia exceeded our expectations . The resort is a perfect size , not too big and not too small ! We were able to find our way around easily . Thanks to the delightfully friendly Verona, the check in was smooth and we got access to our room earlier than expected. We were extremely comfortable with the size of the room and the bathroom is the perfect arrangement, not forgetting the oversized balcony . Thanks to Tashika our room was sparkling clean and all our needs were supplied perfectly. Out butlers Rushane and Jaime were both nothing short of amazing as they ensured that we were extremely well taken care of . What a dynamic duo they are and with the service they provided one is spoiled for life . Every morning we were greeted with a radiant smile by Annakaye which is a great start to anyone’s day ! The food never disappointed and we were able to dine at all the restaurants. I loved the professionalism and perfection each server took when serving our meals . Special mention at this point to Kavon , Brenda , Tomar and Karen . Loved the comfortable loungers at the beach and pool and the amount of shade provided by the palapas . Towel service was excellent and loved the oversized sunscreen containers , a lovely extra touch. Pools were a refreshing temperature and the beach was the highlight . We used our water shoes which I recommend to be available to land anywhere in the water while swimming . Iberostar resorts are always my favourite ones but this one was exceptional ! We have been fortunate enough to travel often and have stayed at competitors , this resort stands out for cleanliness, comfort , excellent food and exceptional service . With hotel staff that are friendly , committed and customer service oriented it’s the winning ingredient to bring guests back year after year to enjoy a well deserved vacation. We loved this resort and are so happy that we found our dream spot ! Needless to say we’ll be back and can’t wait for a repeat of this one . Before I end off I would like to ensure that the above mentioned staff members are congratulated for their outstanding service and would like to include your lovely manager Judy who luckily for us was everywhere we were always ensuring we were well taken care of ! Thank you to team Joia for making outs a truly memorable experience!

Getaway to paradise!
Had a fantastic stay and loved the service from our butler Christopher. Beautiful property and amenities. Can’t wait to come back and visit again.
