Do not book at Dreams until it is Renovated and has better food
I booked this resort based on the glowing online descriptions and promotional photos, but the reality was the complete opposite. The advertising is highly misleading and does not reflect the current state of the property. The food was extremely disappointing — lacking in both quality and variety. It felt more like cafeteria fare than the gourmet experience that was promised. As for the decor, it looks like it hasn’t been updated in at least 25 years. The entire atmosphere feels dated and tired, far from the modern and luxurious vibe portrayed online. On a positive note, I understand the resort is now under new ownership. I genuinely hope they invest in much-needed improvements across the board. Until then, I would not recommend staying here based on the current conditions.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!! NOTHING GOOD AT THIS "RESORT"
Unbeknownst to my friend and travel companion, Hyatt now owns this place called a resort. A total disaster and staff isn't accommodating at all. The bare minimum here. Totally disappointed with the food. The rooms are definitely outdated, not to mention our AC in our room wasn't working when we got there. Everything shuts down early, and it's like a ghost town. If you can change your reservations do so now because this building is going to undergo major renovations so they are not trying to add anything worth having a memorable stay! Stay away!!!

Not worth the money
Hotel is old and worn down. Not great food options. Very limited variety for dinner. If you specifically do not like Jamaican food, you will not have many other options. I traveled with my son and another family. Everyone was disappointed in the food. Customer service class a 5/10. Needs major improvement.

Great Resort!
We had an amazing time on our family vacation, there’s certainly something for everyone - food / activity/ entertainment wise. All staff were possibly the friendliest we’ve met, however we travelled with our baby (10 months old) so this could be why as she had a lot of attention from everyone (which we loved for her because so many people lit up when they saw her and interacted with her!) The hotel overall is very clean and well maintained, however the communal areas to the rooms, the rooms themselves and the buffet restaurant are a little outdated, there also seems to be a strange/unpleasant smell near the fitness centre - aside from that all facilities and areas that we visited were wonderful, you can tell a lot of time has been taken in maintaining the lobby, pools, cafe & beach. The Jerk Hut was our favourite and the jerk cannot be matched by anyone - but they can try :)

Overall great with brilliant people
Overall it was a great experience and a lovely atmosphere. Service is fantastic and people all seem genuinely lovely and caring. Rooms could do with an upgrade maybe but they were perfectly fine and clean. Small details like the power sockets and balcony doors were small irritations but nothing that would stop me returning. I would say that they should concentrate more on fun bands and party entertainment rather than lounge music type entertainment. People go to Jamaica for fun and laughs and the nights like that were amazing.
