The food was amazing!
This hotel has the best food in Cancun! Hyatt Vivid has been by far the best place I’ve stayed. I’ve been to other hotels and this one hit the spot so perfectly. It exceeded my expectations! The staff in all of the restaurants were amazing and super cheerful and fun! I can’t wait to go back with my family, once they finish the family section. The adult section was amazing and extremely relaxing! Thank you everyone in the Hyatt Vivid hotel for the amazing experience!

Not a single expectation was merely met; they were all exceeded.
Best all inclusive I've stayed in yet. Everyone was so helpful and very attentive. Only good experienced from the pools to the restaurant. We had a slight medical emergency at the end but even their doctor helped before their shift started. Like amazing variety: mexican, italian, mediterranean, and even japanese. We stayed 5 nights but didn't have time to experience everything. So much to do and so much variety. If you are staying here PLEASE carry cash to tip. I noticed lots of people are neglecting since the "only" have card. I was disheartened to see great service not rewarded by so many. They even have free shuttle service to a private beach club that has food and drinks included as well. The attention to detail is crazy. On a very windy day with huge waves at the beach the Life guard even stood at the shore to act as a line to how far its safe to approach the water.

Maybe a good hotel next year, but not today.
Check-in process was ridiculously slow. Room reservation category was not honored because they oversold their rooms. They came up with all types of excuses for not having the room we reserved. including that our room was not paid. Yet, they had our Hyatt credit card on file to guarantee. Rooms are spacious and modern. Room service has its own challenges. We ordered room service the first night for dinner, but a glass of wine could not be added to dinner order, but of security issues ??? So, after a long flight and long check in process, I had to go to the bar to get a glass of wine and bring up to the room to have with dinner. Defeats the purpose of room service. We had an early pickup the next morning at 7:45 am, so we tried placing a breakfast order the night before. Once again, we were disappointed. Room service opens at 7:00 am - which meant staff arrives at 7 and the earliest we could get coffee and breakfast would be 7:45-8:00 am. We wanted to place an I understand this is a new property for the Hyatt collection, I just don’t appreciate the learning curve at my expense.

It Has Potential But Management Must Listen
This is a pretty new resort so I'm going to give it a bit of slack. Overall a good experience but it could be so much more. We stayed in the Vantage Club Section. 1) Beach Club is okay but it needs to be bigger...it will never be able to accommodate a large number of people especially during the upcoming high season. 2) The rooms are clean and the views are spectacular. The beds are and pillows are super comfortable and the turn down service is great but you never know when its going to be done...this needs to be improved. 3) The pools are beautiful, Jesus is an awesome waiter and better person with incredible energy. The wood deck around the pool was a stupid idea and could be dangerous as it becomes very slippery. 4) The bars were all good but the Vantage Club bartender is the best I've ever seen. Thank you Jorge for the one of kind drinks! 5) The food had hits and misses. Japanese restaurant is the best, surprisingly the Mexican was the worst by far. We also tried the French and Italian which were both very good. The buffet restaurant was a disappointment every time we went, not enough staff, variety in food or anything that you would really look forward to. Room service is outstanding in this hotel, a must try. 6) The entertainment could be better especially in the evenings. During the day there is plenty to do to keep you busy. In closing, this resort has potential and could be great if management fix the misses especially the staff shortage.

Not Hyatt standard
Our room was not cleaned at all. Just towels replaced and garbage emptied. After 3 days of leaving a very nice tip in hopes it would be cleaned, I chose to leave the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Very dissatisfied. And if you're a smoker be prepared to sit literally in the parking lot. Bring an umbrella for the rainy days.
