Exceeded my expectations
The hotel's location - Perfect. Maybe 50 steps, and your feet are touching the nice and warm sands of Waikiki Beach. Close to everything. The hotel staff are really caring and attentive. The room I got was spacious - 1 King Bed, Oceanfront (Diamond Head). I will book it AGAIN and AGAIN. The view was perfect. My stay at the hotel was marvelous and has exceeded my expectations. The coffee shop downstairs - Kai Coffee - get their Kai Latte. The Tesla showroom was a 5-minute walking distance. I mentioned Tesla because we did the Tesla experience for 3 days which was super convenient location wise. Hotel's security staff - Mr. Timmy - Aloha and Mahalo. You are so kind and just the best. The only thing I can say I got a little disappointed was the Parking Fee. It was $60 for hotel guests for 24hrs. We were there for 6 days, That's $360. I wish it wasn't that expensive. I get that Hawaii is a tourist spot, but $60 per day for parking. A bit too much for me. Their dinner buffet, priced at $85/person plus tax, I wasn't able to try. Their breakfast buffet, priced at $45/person plus tax, I wasn't also able to try.

Relief and secure.
All of stuffs were so nice to us, when we have questions. The view and location were breathtaking so that our whole stay was really comfortable. There are so many hotels in Waikiki but for sure we can feel so relief and secure with this long-establised hotel. Thank you, and see you again!

Insane parking fees
Very dated hotel with noisy rooms and insane parking and valet fees! $60-$70 a day plus resort fees. Rooms were large, but very dated. Construction nearby made the already noisy rooms even louder. Bring a noise machine to get any sleep. Pools looked nice, but we didn’t use

Property Needs Major Improvements
The property is quite run-down and in desperate need of renovation. The noise level was a significant issue—every time neighbors entered or exited their rooms, the slamming doors were loud and disruptive, making it hard to relax. We were told we’d been upgraded to an oceanfront room as a globalist, but the view was disappointing. Instead of a direct oceanfront, our room faced the opposite building with only a partial ocean view. It felt a bit misleading, as we were expecting something more in line with the description. While the location has potential, the overall condition and noise issues really impacted our stay. Some updates and better transparency would go a long way.

The highlight… the location!
The location was great and staff friendly. However, when in the room it was a let down compared to my stays at other Hyatts. Wallpaper was peeling, furniture had visible wear, the water in the shower was inconsistent, and noise traveled through the thin walls. We made the best of it and trekked on, but would definitely recommend a different accommodation in the area.
