Bloodstains on the Bed and Shocking Management Response
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico from November 23-26, 2024, and was deeply disappointed with the experience. The room I stayed in had visible bloodstains on the bed linens, which were not replaced for at least two nights, raising serious concerns about hygiene and health safety. Housekeeping also left a dirty cleaning cloth on the bathroom countertop, further highlighting the lack of attention to cleanliness. When I reported these issues to hotel management, their response was completely inadequate. The manager initially promised to address the matter and provide documentation but failed to follow through. At check-out, another manager offered conditional compensation that felt more like a threat than a solution, stating I would receive no discounts if I didn’t immediately agree to their terms. This unprofessional behavior left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. Additionally, Hyatt’s corporate team has been dismissive of my concerns, closing the case simply because I declined the insufficient compensation offered. As a loyal customer and new World of Hyatt member, I expected much better from a brand that prides itself on hospitality and service. I cannot recommend this property and urge potential guests to reconsider staying here until significant improvements are made in hygiene, guest safety, and management professionalism.

Amazing experience!
The experience at this hotel was great and all of the staff was very attentive and accommodating. Especially Ricardo Alamo at the lobby bar, he recommended I try a drink I had never had before and has now become my favorite drink! I will be sure to look for him on my next visit to the hotel.

Amazing!
Ricardo is the best! His hospitality and sense of humor was very much appreciated and welcoming as well as infectious. Any time I went to the bar with my family I looked for Ricardo as he was the one to get the party started! 10/10 highly recommend.

Don’t go! One of the worst.
Don’t go! Quality of the food is awful across all restaurants, they play loud music everywhere so if you’re interested in a quiet relaxing holiday this is NOT the place to go. Others were complaining also but management didn’t seem to care at all.
