    Best hotel during a non-spring break weekend!

    This property is a gem in Playa. The food, staff and drinks were amazing. Unfortunately, we went during spring break and for 3 nights of our stay the neighboring property had EDM concerts and loud music playing until 3am each morning. That was not the fault of the staff of the Hyatt. We heard it in our room and that is why I rated the facility a 4. It is conveniently located and the views of the beach are breathtaking.

    Beach House was Great

    Staff was beyond Amazing from front desk to F&B and Housekeeping. Stayed at Beach house with great balcony and view from the room. Use of both properties was great as we stayed at Beach house on days we wanted to be by the ocean and at Downtown House for a pool day. Only reason not a 5 star is the music of the neighbor property who had a rooftop club was excessive on the Saturday Night until past 2am. Hyatt provides earplugs and even contacted the neighbor property about it, and receptionist mentioned it was loudest she has heard it since working there. Maybe it was the start of spring break or a special event we should have been aware of, but is something to consider when booking.

    Perfect gateway - outstanding value, quality and superb location

    Outstanding solo sunny break. Ideal weather, beach, pool and sunshine. Outstanding value, superb location, walkability - whether you hang out at their perfectly located Beach House or stay at the man building everything is a few steps away from the front door - shopping, spa, restaurants, beach. The rooms are super generous in size, modern and stylish of residential quality. Next time I will try the Beach House! Excellent service. Thank you!

    An excellent experience in intimate hotel. Bring earplugs because hotel next door plays loud music.

    Beautiful Ocean view suite with very large balcony with table and short couch. Room was always cleaned well. Right on a beach that extended down to the ferry. Small and intimate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

    Quiet Oasis in the Heart of Plata Del Carmen

    We had a nice stay at the Hyatt Centric Downtown house! Pros: - super comfortable beds, great blackout blinds, very effective AC, no noise transfer from the lively 5th ave street - all made for great sleeps! - very nicely designed rooms with nice lighting, a big shower and balcony. Felt spacious and very comfortable - very helpful service at the front desk (quick and easy check in/out) and great service at upstairs rooftop restaurant - peaceful hotel which is a nice break from the busy playa del Carmen streets - housecleaning was thorough and well maintained Cons: - elevators were a bit of a pain. Some only went to specific floors so you’d have to wait for the right elevator and sometimes had to walk a bit to get to the right elevator - construction across the street from our room was sometimes noisy during the day but never interfered with sleeping hours
