Is in a construction area has a difficult access to the beach. It has a huge abandoned building across the street that ruins the view. States it is a 5 star ⭐️ hotel but it isn’t. Small pool, unfriendly front desk assistants, and they don't even provide water bottles as a room courtesy.

Oct 11, 2024Bocagrande Bliss: Perfect Location, Excellent Hospitality, and Unforgettable Dining
The hotel is ideally situated in the vibrant Bocagrande district, with a range of nearby restaurants, bars, and shops along the bustling Carrera 2. Our room on the 18th floor was spacious and comfortable, boasting a balcony with an impressive 90-degree view of both the beach and the Caribbean Sea. Breakfast was exceptional, offering an extensive selection of fresh fruits, juices, cereals, breads, and jams, as well as a hot breakfast prepared to order right in front of you. And the coffee—simply unforgettable! We even discovered the brand (in a red packet) and bought several kilos at a local supermarket on Calle 12 to enjoy at home. We’re still savouring it, and it should last until we return to this delightful hotel next year. The restaurant, with its open windows, perfectly captures the tropical atmosphere, allowing a refreshing sea breeze to flow through, aided by overhead fans. The dinner menu deserves special praise; every dish, from starter to dessert, was a five-star experience. Each plate was beautifully presented, almost too artistic to eat, prompting us to take photos of every course. The service was impeccable—elegant yet friendly and attentive. The hotel also features a rooftop pool with panoramic views, complete with sun loungers, tables, chairs, and a bar offering a selection of drinks, cocktails, and light snacks. All the staff were exceptionally polite, always smiling and willing to help. Ariel, the head concierge, was especially helpful during our stay. Being our first time in the city, he ensured we had safe transport when needed and provided excellent recommendations on where to find authentic local music and dance. We’re already counting the days until our next visit, and this time we plan to stay twice as long. One final note: despite our early arrival, the hotel graciously allowed us to check in at midday, which was much appreciated after a long journey from Montevideo.

Amazing hotel in Cartagena
All the employees are very courteous, always smiling and helpful! Security always got us a safe taxi and Uber and was taking all the information abour who was going on the ride. My sister got sick and for our surprise, the hotel had a health plan for the guests, they called the ambulance and in less than 20 minutes we got a doctor and nurse on our suite and didn't have to pay anything 🙏 The breakfast it's amazing and varies every single day. The beach it's very nice and the hotel has their own Security there.

Nice hotel, walkable distance from beach
Close to the beach, hygienic and food is great. Very well maintained. Staff is supportive particularly the restaurant people. Good place to stay along with family. hotel rooms balconies have very good view of the sea. Located close to local market.

Disappointing location, average hotel infrastructure, poor elevators for such a tall building
Poor location, worse than I expected. The beach nearby is dirty, poorly maintained and filled with aggressive sellers. Without a private beach club staying at this hotel doesnt make sense. The only interesting thing about the area is beach which is useless. Next time I will stay in another location
