  Enjoying the views at the Rainbow Towers.

  Just wanted to let you know how much we loved staying at the newly renovated room at the Rainbow tower. As a Hiton Gold member for over twenty years we were impressed by the service provided at check in by our girl Clair. She went the extra mile and made our forty fifth anniversay very memorable. Its people like Clair that keep us coming back to the Rainbow towers. THANKS AGAIN CLAIR AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU NEXT YEAR...

  Meh experience for a high price

  Let’s see where do I begin… check-in was alright thankfully we arrived on a Wednesday so it wasn’t horrible and when we finally did get to check in, we received a upgrade, which was very nice. I think the staff is great. What’s lacking, however is the hotel amenities and accommodation itself. I’ve been to most of the pools and only the super and tapa pool and maybe the the kiddie pool were “resort” like. I stayed in the Ali’i tower and the only good thing was the elevator was fast as heck only took about a minute or less to go from floor 15 to 1. The other pools are outdated and cracked which might be why they’re doing renovations in late April, but for the price you pay and the exuberant “resort fee” I would probably not stay here again that doesn’t even take into account the abundance of kids running around rampant. This is probably a better place for families however, I had a good deal so thought I would give it a try. There’s tons to do, however it’s a bit of a walk to get to any of the more prime spots. The firework show was OK we our room was kitty corner to the show but maybe lasted less than 10 minutes total. And don’t even get me started on the cost of food at these restaurants. You would think your dining at a five-star restaurant for the price you pay that you get food quality of a two star restaurant.

  Not enough pool space or bars

  Enormous resort type hotel which to be honest we only stayed at because Elvis did! At check in offered upgrade from Kalia tower to rainbow but cost was $75 per night so we declined which caused great issue as the two sea view Kalia tower rooms we booked weren’t available and we had to settle for alternative bedded rooms which wasn’t exactly ideal. Rooms were dated and in desperate need of refresh. Probably very nice 20 years ago but shabby now . Kalia tower has a quiet adult pool but little shade or umbrellas . Super pool is wrongly described as it’s quite small really. Lagoon is nice as is beach but 2 sunbeds and umbrella is around $100 a day. There are food options on site including ABC store where you can get pretty much anything inc clothing, drinks, sandwiches etc so it’s handy for lunch. Overall this is a whopping big hotel with too many people for the pool areas and restaurant options they have. It was ok but I definitely wouldn’t stay again

  Great resort

  We celebrated our anniversary with a week in the Aliki’i Tower and we very pleased. The entire resort was clean and the people were very pleasant. We dined in several restaurants on property with no complaints. The beach access was fantastic as was the pool Open to tower guests only. We were actually surprised how quiet it was in our room, knowing how many people were at the resort (6th floor). We were a tad surprised at a few superficial issues that should have been corrected (paint chipped, damaged cabinet face) which are not typical of other Hilton properties. Our only regret is that we had to Leave!

  Easy beach access and great amenities

  We are in the middle of a 6-night stay at Hilton Hawaiian Village in a beach view room in the Rainbow tower and are having an excellent vacation. The campus of the Hawaiian Village took us a couple of days to learn how to navigate, but now that we know where we are going, it’s easy to see how you could stay here all week and never step foot off the property. Several restaurants to choose from. Excursions and luaus to book, and shopping and ABC convenience store on-site. The beach is nicely kept and easily accessible from the property. It’s so convenient that if we want to go jump in a pool, we simply leave our blanket on the beach and walk the 25 yards to the pool for a few minutes and back. We’ve never stayed on a beach that is so convenient! Maid service is great and timely. We prepaid for breakfast at the hotel and have really enjoyed our morning oceanfront meals at the Tropics Bar and Grill. Lisa has been our server for two of our mornings and she is great! One day we had not used up all our credit and asked if we wanted to add juice to our order to use up the remaining balance. Yes please! The spirit of aloha is definitely with Lisa. 🌴🌺☀️❤️ We have been walking to the International Marketplace…about .75 mi from the hotel…almost daily for restaurants, our luau experience. It’s a nice walk down the beach and through a park. This hotel complex is reasonably priced. The staff is attentive and helpful. It is not a luxury hotel, but we are very happy with what we have experienced and received during our stay.
