What We Love
Sitting on a peninsula, this resort has one of the best views on the island. Great beach with calm water make this a excellent property. Make sure you try the weekly BBQ at the hotel, great food and reasonably priced. And did we mention there's a complimentary shuttle to town?Things to Know

Dreams in Name Only
The name of the hotel has nothing to do with what it offers. My wife and I came to the hotel to spend unforgettable moments in the Caribbean. We paid extra for a room with a sea view and we got a room with a view of the barracks. We reported this to the reception and the lady arrogantly told us that they would not change our room. Only after the intervention of our travel agency after a few days the room was changed. The change was made by the hotel manager who did it in a way that I will not write about. I can safely say that in no hotel we have been to so far have we encountered such an approach to the guest as in Dreams Curacao

Terrible! This place needs to be shut down & renovated.
Horrible experience. Customer service is nonexistent Arrived at 1pm told check was at 3pm- Did not get checked in until almost 5pm. Room 427- ac was not working. I told the front desk three times and it was never fixed or even looked at. Room was infested with flies and mosquitoes. I uploaded photos of my legs that are swollen & bruised because of the mosquitoes. Paid extra for “Preferred Club” that didn’t exist. Was told on my last night that the check in room was the preferred club which had self served snakes that were old & covered with flies from sitting out all day. No Premium liquor & no preferred breakfast option just a buffet that was covered in flies & more mosquitos. Was told the day of check in that as a “Preferred Club Guest” I could attend a breakfast the next morning to learn about Hyatt’s new resorts & the new Pods that were opening in December & that by attending the presentation I would get a $100 voucher to use for my Spa Treatment. Well the breakfast was the same buffet & the presentation was just a timeshare presentation that wasted 2hrs of my day. This was by far the worst vacation experience I’ve ever had.

I was hoping to love this place .
Pros: The room was beautiful ! My housekeeper was great! The drinks were good if you got top shelf liquor. Cons: The food is trash. FYI there’s another restaurant across the street behind Oceana with better food. Customer service is trash at the restaurant especially for POC. I usually tip at every sitting and I only tipped 1 time at any of the restaurants. The beach is small, crowded and rocky. The servers didn’t come to the pool to ask for drinks. Not a good experience for a female poc on a solo travel. Will never go to that resort again.

Stay away
Stay away. If you’ve been to other dreams or secrets resort this is nothing compared. Staff was rude. Nobody seemed to care or want to work. The food was awful. The flies were out of control. There was no working in AC the rooms. Just a disaster.

Curaçao is beautiful just don't go here
Beautiful beach and pool for most part staff was terrible except a few who went above and beyond. Buffet was below average but specialty restaurant were good. Beware no coffee anywhere before 7. Restration was worse than anywhere we have ever been. It took 3 hours in lobby to get our room ready.from 230 to 530 while others came in and got to rooms. Supervisor was very rude.Curaçao was beautiful just don't go to dreams.
