Great experience with the family . Hotel was clean, accommodating and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The staff at the kids club were extremely professional and made our daughters stay extremely enjoyable, she did not want to leave them! The Beach bunch staff was great and our daughter felt very safe with them.

Tremendous trip
The trip was phenomenal. Our travel agent Jana did great with this pick. My family had a great time. From the front desk, pool staff, kids club, everyone was amazing. I would like to shout out the tremendous people that made this trip exceptional. The beach bunch crew thank you Arany, Sam, Dash, Mari, Andy, Alexia, Jamie. The kids were thrilled to spend the time with you guys. The Entertainment team was fantastic. Tony, Bruno, Santos, Leon, Charly, Cax, Rain and the whole team. Richie, Ivan, and JC were tremendous hosts by the pool. This was truly a remarkable experience. One we hope to return to soon.

Just amazing!
Amazing experience. Everybody was very welcoming. And the service was top notch. Also, shout out to Irving. He was an amazing bartender. Even though he is dealing with multiple customers at the same time, his focus on giving each customer a one on one experience was superb.

Apr 20, 2025First time to Cancun and we had a great time at Mar Caribe!
My husband, 17 y.o. son and I went to Cancun for our first time, mid April 2025) and stayed at the Mar Caribe. The location is a 5 because it sits on a beautiful beach with white sand and turquoise water. The pool is massive, with a separate kids pool area, and they have games, like volleyball, Name That Tune, dancing in the pool and contests throughout the days so that adults and kids can have fun. The staff was extremely friendly - who handled all of the travel and adventures and sports at the hotel. I especially want to point out that Luis Mario who worked the evenings at the Sports Desk was great! My son, husband and I played ping pong every night after dinner. Mario made sure to help us get set up to play every night and even patiently taught me some Spanish - very nice guy; friendly staff all around. Honorio, at the Sports Desk, by the pool, booked us for jet skiing one day and a day trip on a catamaran, which had a large shade cover (makes a difference and not all catamaran tours offer this), to Isle Mujeres which was a lot of fun. Included lunch and we were able to go to their beautiful beach and also do some shopping there. I highly recommend both if you are adventurous and like to be on the water. Thomas More Travel staff, onsite, were also great and patiently explained some of the tours and advantages of one over another. Although we wanted to go to Chichen Itza, they advised that it was very hot there, and instead, went to Tulum for the day. That was a lot of fun, 11 hour trip. I would suggest bringing a change of dry clothes for the ride home because you swim in a cave with mineral/fresh water and snorkel in a lagoon like cenote on the trip. Overall the food at the hotel restaurants was good at the restaurants but make sure, when you check in, that you set up dinner reservations at the restaurants on the property for the week because they book up fast. The restaueant by the pool offers a buffet and we ate breakfast there each day - it can get busy but the line moves fast and there is a lot of variety on the food offered. The restaurant staff were all very friendly and pleasant. We ate at each of the hotel's restaurants all week and also ate at Harry's Steakhouse down the road one of the nights and enjoyed a beautiful, but expensive dinner on the deck, looking over the bay. Lastly, checking out, Rodo at the front desk was friendly and invited us to enjoy the food and drinks (after checking out) until our shuttle came to pick us up for the airport. Why a 4? I wish we were told when checking in that we should meet with the Concierge Desk right away to book dinner reservations for the week. If your room faces the pool noise from the guys leading activities and morning aerobics at the pool can be quite loud. These guys do make things fun for the guests and have a live DJ amplifying the sound so the noise carries, if you like to sleep in or nap during the day at some point.

Beautiful clean resort with the BEST staff: Karina, Oscar, Ceasar, Andres, Christopher & Janeth
We visit Cancun to relax, be treated well, and most importantly to feel like we are amongst family and friends! The following staff at Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe ensured we had just that experience. Oscar (checkin bar - main building), Karina (spa checkin), Janeth (Massage Therapist), Ceasar (steakhouse), and Andres & Christopher (Vela restaurant) are phenomenal in assuring you have this experience. !They are all amazing! This is a must visit resort for a few days or for a couple of weeks. You will not be disappointed! Let them know their favorite guests send their hello’s. You won’t regret booking your stay!
