Jan 01, 2025Nice hotels with a few minor details that needs attention
Nice hotel, which is separated into kids and adult area. No, the kids are not physically prohibited to be in the adult area, but everyone was nice enough to follow that unspoken rule. Reservation for dinner are a bit hard to navigate at first, so make sure you have them show you how to do it on the website, and make sure you book them ASAP! Kids club was a god save for us, you can drop them off (for free) until 10pm except for lunch and dinner breaks. The pool chair fighting game goes on every morning, so are the liquors washed down, fairly typical at any all inclusive resorts, so set you expectation straight. Food quality hovers around 7-8 out of 10. Although I would give the open grill steaks a 9/10. They don't let Ubers in, but DiDi (Mexican version of Lyft) is ok, so if you do call an Uber, you'll have to tell the concierge right away that you have a DiDi (NOT Uber) coming, and msg the driver that to tell the gate security that he/she is doing DiDi. Pain in the @$$ process. Apparently they had some "incidents" with some previous Uber drivers. Overall a solid hotel with a few minor corks that needs to be worked out.

December family vacation
This was our second time back to the resort. We had the same great experience. Food was delicious and plentiful. Would Like to compliment: - Humberto in Maxal for his personal and kind service in the morning. - Guadalupe and Yureli for their great poolside service each day. - Javier , best bartender around. Made a great naked and famous with mezcal. - Angel for his service at Auma. Entertainment crew is awesome. Always a good time. Shout out to Gustavo, Nico, Diego and Marisol for A great time. Some improvements would be to make sure the schedule printed and on app are more consistent. Please let us make a reservation for the arrival night before we get there and then let all other reservations be made upon arrival. You are somewhat stranded with two options (vela buffet or sunan) on arrival day. David and Suzi at the fitness center were great. Pilates class was tough but relaxing. And David’s aqua strong class in the pool is a fun time but tough !! He was great. We will be back.

Excellent service from the waiters at the pool. Especially Pedro. Really made the difference! Thank you so much! Rooms are really nice an big. Would advise to book one of the restaurants whenever you can, as the service is really good and the menu is great

Great trip - wonderful kids club!!
We loved our vacation at The Hilton Cancun. Everything was really wonderful (even the food, for the most part!). One of the real highlights was the kids club. My 5 year old son could not get enough of the kids club. Specifically he loved Dani so much I don't think he wanted to leave Mexico. He also really liked Angie and Arge. The counselors were all so lovely and multi-talented. Dancers, princesses, Christmas characters, karaoke and musical chairs leaders, crafting experts and more! If we go back to this hotel, it would surely be due to the fabulous staff at the kid's club.

Memorable time
We had a great time! Our favorite hotel activity was the kayaking... Only $5 per person!! The entire staff treated us very well even though it was a busy time for them. We highly recommend making reservations for the steak, italian and mexican restaurants the first day for your entire stay. The Kids Club crew was especially awesome. The Kids Club staff Arge, Dani, Nath, Angie, Dixie, Ale, Paty helped make our kid's time memorable.
