Price not valued for what you get.
The staff was excellent and the location is fantastic. However, from staying at a variety of resorts and hotels in general, the price was expensive . All around the island is pricy, but I've never stayed at a resort paying about $500/night and not even incude bottled waters. It's just the bare room unless you pay extra for the inclusive meal package per person. The property is building up, looking like an extension, but I hope it works on getting an update as well.

A true paradise in Bermuda ♥
We just came back from a vacation to Bermuda and we stayed at Grotto Bay Beach for the second time ♥ We came back to Grotto Bay Beach because of the way that we were treated by the entire staff who are wonderful and the delicious meals that we were served. On this trip, we had a repeat of amazing staff who will do anything to make your stay a great experience. The resort has gone through some renovations which are fabulous. The restaurants, the new Panarama Lounge where they had the rum swizzle manager's reception on Monday with delicious hors d'oeuvres. , are fantastic. Great big windows so you don't miss a minute of the views of the bay, the well kept grounds. From the time that we got our room key from Ehbone until the time that we left, we truly enjoyed all of the facilities. As I have celiac, my meals must be gluten-free and I give so much praise to the chefs of Grotto Bay. Jeff sat with me on our arrival, Marie was fantastic at taking my orders for the our meals. She's a true gem ♥ Dominique also checked on me. To me, this means a lot as it is a true vacation. The food is so delicious. All of the managers chat with the guests, and are available if you need them. The location is always perfect, so close to the airport, and there's a bus stop right in front that will take you around the island. All that we can hope for is that we have a chance to return to Grotto Bay Beach as it is our favorite vacation destination. Thank you to all of the staff for your kindness and for being so cooperative as I love taking pictures ♥

Beautiful resort, but mobility issues.
Very nice resort with beautiful views. Food was fabulous. Service was excellent. The only caveat is that the resort is built on a hillside above the bay and if you have mobility issues it can be daunting getting around to the various facilities. They will provide transport via golf cart or van but it is a pain having to request that every time you want to go anywhere on the property. For example there were 28 steps from the lobby/dining rooms to our room, and we were in one of the buildings closest to the lodge.

Impressive!!!
We went to grotto bay for a staycation. I took a chance to booked since my son is on school break. It was impressive from the beginning till the end . The Bellman was very friendly and polite. The front desk was professional. The hotel areas were relaxing and offer a great view. The dining experience was excellent! It was always busy from breakfast till dinner. The food selection was limited but the Breakfast buffets for me is one the kind. They really have a lot of good options. Our server Vinay was the top-notch! He is very knowledgeable and attentive. He remembered my drink references and allergies . Raymond and Veronica were very helpful and welcoming. Danny as well was very kind and focused. Aside from the views, THE Staff are the main reason why our stay became memorable one. I highly recommended this place and we will definitely comeback. You guys are awesome! Thank you for looking after us.

I want to go back.
Very nice and well run place, the hotel by itself have a few attractions: A nice beach with a pool close by and a grotto cave (swimming in there is quite an experience). It is close to the airport and it has bus stops for both ends of the island (try the buses to move around). It you are looking for quite relaxation surrounded by nature you will find it here.
- AdvisoryWe are delighted to advise you the new Palm Court Restaurant is open! The restaurant will offer a new menu and more seating, yet still serve up the delicious food and friendly service that we are known for, with even better views. The contemporary Island inspired design and Mediterranean-Bermudian themed menu will complement the dining experience further against the backdrop of azure ocean horizons from every angle.
