Apr 14, 2025Just what we needed, with a touch of nature and sun
Just home from 2 weeks of bliss at the Grand Sirenis resort. I had read a few reviews and thought there’s no point, I’m not changing my holiday and I’m glad I didn’t. The hotel and spa complex was simply awesome, with many animals walking about or just chilling out with the rest of the guests. The food on offer in the buffet restaurant was plentiful and the choice varied, those who say they didn’t have a nice meal must be used to going to Michelin Star restaurants every night. The themed restaurants also offered great choice and options with all tastes accounted for. Yes there were a couple of issues, the AC unit didn’t work for the first few days, the bed if I’m honest was a little soft for my liking, but it isn’t enough to make me say this holiday was terrible, like I’ve read a few say. Special recognition must go to Rafael, he was on two occasions in charge of restaurants we visited, but he knew everything about each menu and gave us greater understanding of what each dish was. He showed that even after only a few weeks in the role as restaurant manager he had adapted to the role like a duck to water. Talking about water huge thanks goes to the team at the Aura swim up bar, Andres, Joel and the rest of the team were brilliant, knowing what we drank or what would just hit the mark whether that was a Cuba Libra, Margarita or a beer with a “slice of lime” 😉😂 Thanks to all of the staff for 2 weeks of sheer bliss.

Beach Bar Chiringo
Luis Lan from the Bar Playa Chiringo was amazing with me, my family and friends. He made the best cocktails and also served my children with soft drinks in a very friendly and polite manner. He is always smiling! Thank you, Luis! His colleagues, Milan and Juan, from the beach bar were also friendly and polite.

Amazing
Amazing resort , 3rd time back, lots of great updates, restaurants , al la carts were amazing. Concierge in our building 2000 - Maria, Diego, Jared and Dario, very helpful, love them all. Their little surprise was amazing, thanks again. See you soon

Bike Tour with Cecilio Hernandez
This was one of my favourite activities provided by the resort. I expected a long bike ride but it was so much more! Botanical gardens, cenotes, and the jungle were just highlights of this event. Cecilio was very informative and very funny! He kept us engaged and laughing. I highly recommend!!

Great experience
5 stars at the Butcher’s restaurant at Grand sirenis! Food was fabulous (starters were tasty & steaks were cooked to perfection) Service was friendly, efficient and excellent and overall, a wonderful restaurant. Would highly recommend if you ever staying at the grand sirenis hotel in Mexico.
