Jan 03, 2025Extreme Disappointment in this Resort
I was very disappointed in this resort. From the time of check in which took well over an hour, to the dismal buffets which served the same food everyday with no variation. The room service was lacking, the coffee maker didn't work, pillows weren't replaced and when I called for room service for breakfast the evening before I was told to call back in the morning at 7am to place an order! The pool was green and we complained about it and finally they cleaned and chlorinated it. I was there with 19 members of my family who spent a lot of money and we couldn't get into any of the alternative restaurants. Eight members of our group got into the steakhouse on our last evening and we waited for over a half hour for a waiter to come and then a further half hour to get drinks. The bell boys and shuttle drivers were absolutely excellent, as well as the bartender at the pool. I'd say the most serious problem with this resort was service. The service sucked literally all over the resort. The people were miserable most of the time serving us from the buffet to the hostesses trying to get in who made you feel like a criminal. I would not recommend nor go back to this resort. We (19 of us) went to celebrate my daughter's 40th birthday on December 27th and if it wasn't for Andreas at the bar who went out of his way to get her a cake and balloons, it would have been ruined, as we couldn't get into any other restaurant on the resort and had to settle for the buffet once again.

Spent one week at this resort starting Dec 24 th with my wife and kids as well as other family members that came down as after for Christmas for a week I also want to say I and family have travelled to alot of destination’s and have a good idea of costs / quality I start with negatives rating out of 10 Food - 2 Pool- 2 Drinks - 3 Service- 4 bring extra money with you …… Rooms -2 same bring more money to upgrade …. All of my family members had been sick during and after trip and still as I write this Positives Beach -8 There was one standout employee that we had and her name was Biki at the steak house Restraunt they’re very lucky to have her there !! Spent a lot of money and very disappointed I never write reviews but had to for this

Bad experience
I wouldn’t stay again, rooms were terrible and we were put in wrong type of room twice. Ended up moving 4 times in a week. That alone ruined our holiday and also the sales pitch was way too over board like a 80s sales office with basic useless sales techniques

3 stars Max if that
We were a group of 20 down for Christmas and a special birthday. We chose this resort on the recommendation of a family member (who didn’t end up coming). We were used to Riu’s or Royalton’s in the past and this definitely did not live up to that expectation. Food was awful, no variety, etc. Couldn’t get reservations to a la carte restaurants and when we finally did, the service and food was awful - took 45 minutes just to get spoken to for example. The pool was green by day 3. When we brought it up to staff, they ignored us. In the end, don’t waste your time or money with this property. Stick to a true 5* with a good reputation.
