    The Best

    Rooms were amazing we had a great view of the pool staff was very friendly and so responsive i would recommend everyone staying here it is the best place i have ever stayed! The resort is right on a beautiful beach that has beautiful soft white sand and a cliff you can go up and watch the sun come up

    Outstanding service, and comfortable rooms. Interiors need a refresh.

    This is a lovely resort that needs some updating. Service is excellent. Food is hit and miss and sometimes overpriced. For example, the sushi at Stevenson's Library was outstanding and a good value. Tide Pools food was average. The outside of the resort is very well maintained. The inside is showing it's age and wear and tear. It could use some updating.

    Spectacular Property

    We are back after 10 years and the Grand Hyatt is just as spectacular! The property is breathtaking! The many pools are great. The hot tubs were perfect. Adult Pool Bar staff, and Tidepools staff very kind. Check in agent very kind. Great big room. Great big gym. Loved walking around the property. Lagoon pool outstanding.

    Absolutely beautiful location and room.

    Extravagant experience. Lots of pools available and, at least in February, it's easy to find a chair at a pool and a reservation at a quality restaurant. Beautiful location, but beach isn't swimmable and everything is quite expensive -- they even charge for a lazy river tube.

    Already want to return there!

    Although this excellent resort is quite pricey, if you can afford it, it's the place to stay while vacationing on the South Shore of Kauai, Hawaii. The variety of swimming pools, including the Saltwater Lagoon and their Lazy River are to dream for. Never felt overcrowded, and the staff are some of the best that we've ever encountered during our trips on all 7 continents. This was our 2nd stay there, and looking forward to returning soon one day.
