    Great Meal at Le Basilie

    The meal at Le Basilie was wonderful. David, Edy and Maria were fantastic! Great experience! Each course was better than the last. The basil aperitif was a first and fantastic . The wine pairings are well worth the expense. The entertainment was unique and the setting was lovely. Above all else the service was exemplary.

    Great dinner on the beach with Alexis and team

    We had a wonderful, intimate dinner on the beach during our stay at Grand Fiesta Americana - Coral Beach. I have a couple of food allergies and the team took it very seriously. From start to finish we were very well taken care of by Alexis and his entire team. We appreciate how thoughtful they were with explaining each course and making sure everything came in a timely manner (even though we were far from the kitchen). The food arrived warm and flavorful and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Thank you Alexis and team for making our dinner so special while we celebrate on our Babymoon.

    Best restaurant at an all inclusive resort

    We had an amazing meal at Le Basilic. Maria who greeted us at the front was prompt, Pablo, our waiterwas amazing. Tentative but not overbearing. The tasting menu was also perfection. Every course was fantastic. We were pleasantly surprised that a dinner at an all inclusive resort could be this good.

    Fantastic Resort for our Anniversary!

    Celebrated our 20th anniversary at this resort and had a fantastic experience. Food and services were absolutely top notch and we would highly recommend the French specialty restaurant La Brasila. Service from the restaurant staff Pablo, Miguel and Maria was excellent and best in class!

    Run Away

    I am currently still on property. We are in rooms 523 and 524. We arrived yesterday, a family of 6, 2 adults, 4 children. As part of the reservation, it clearly says on the papers that included in our package are 6 complimentary ferry tickets to Isla Meujeres. When I checked in, I asked the front desk about the tickets and she told me go to the concierge. The concierge then told me to go ask the front desk. Then a third employee told me they’re not giving those out anymore. I then told the employee that I should get a refund or a credit for that and she said she can’t do that. Then today, we spent the day at the beach. At 1:00 PM we decided to go eat Lunch. First we went to Isla Contoy restaurant and they wouldn’t allow in to eat. They claimed that my kids bathing suits were wet when they’re not. They told us to go to the buffet. We went to the buffet restaurant and they wouldn’t let us in either. They in turn told us to go to Isla Contoy. We told them we tried there and were denied food. They didn’t care. We spoke to a manager at the buffet and told him we have kids who are hungry and want to eat. They turned deaf ears. Additionally, my son wanted to use the bathroom and they told us he can’t use the restaurant because his clothes are wet, when indeed they’re not. This has been a terrible experience and we are very disappointed. We paid 12,000 dollars for a 3-night trip, and so far they have made it miserable. They don’t understand the concept that people come on vacation to unwind and eat, and not stress out about feeding their children. We travel monthly in the Caribbean and especially Mexico and this is by far the worst experience. My kids wanted to fly out. I plan on disputing some of the charges with my credit card company as soon as I get back to the US, because I have the papers that clearly say complimentary ferry tickets to Isla Meujeres. Please do your research well before booking this hotel.
