What We Love
Upscale amenities and 92 acres of eco-paradise combine with the Bavaro Princess' all-suite accommodations for the perfect secluded slice of paradise.
Things to Know
Bavaro Beach is among the Caribbean's top beaches, and Punta Cana boasts great golf courses, zip-line adventures and a surf school; what are you waiting for?
Strolling across the Mangrove Bridge, you're inspired by the stunning beauty of this little ecological preserve right in the midst of the resort. Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort, Spa & Casino in Punta Cana treats guests to accommodations scattered throughout the immaculate grounds. Only about an eighth of the suites are in the main building. The result is the best of two worlds--the amenities of an all-inclusive resort and the charm of a boutique resort.
Palms line the perfect white sands of Bavaro Beach, frequently named one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Kick off your flip-flops and wander aimlessly, knowing that you can return to claim a lounger and palapa after visiting one of two beachside bars. Not far from the beach is a massive, free-form pool with its own swim-up bar.
A complimentary scuba lesson in the pool is just one of the included perks, as are non-motorized water sports. Other activities at the hotel range from shuffleboard to the lawn-bowling game, patanque. Of course, if you simply want to indulge yourself, there's no better place than the resort's Metamorphosis Spa. Experts here borrow treatments from around the world, so schedule a heavenly facial or couple's massage.

Bavaro Princess
We are in our 60's and have traveled extensively...we really like this resort...4th visit...the guys at the Platinum Beach bar were so much fun...kudos to that team...Antonio, Claudio, and the Meastro, Perez!! The beach wouldn't be the same with one missing!!!..big ty to Roberto and Alberto for looking out for us always!! ...All the staff were really nice...our entertainment was Claudio, Antonio and the Maesrto..PEREZ!! ) the only reason I'm giving this resort a 4 is because the food wasn't up to its 'norm' plus...the entertainment team didn't show up...Loved the MJ show!!

Worst Maid service and upkeep of hotel
I stayed at the Bavaro princess resort Nov 3-13, 2024. The beach and food was great but the maid service and hotel upkeep was terrible. In my room the safe did not work, the phone did not work, the air conditioner barely worked. I complained to the front desk many times and even though the front desk said they would take care of it, nothing was done. The maid service was TERRIBLE. The room was barely cleaned throughout the 10 days I was there. The beds were made (but bed sheets not changed), the garbage was cleaned and new towels were given BUT my coffee in the morning wasn't emptied or the coffee grinds, the fridge was not restocked, and the room was not tidied at all. If something was left on the floor or counter, that is where it stayed. The bathtub and toilet were dirty from my when i arrived and it was never cleaned. There was blood behind the toilet from a previous guest and was never cleaned. I have never experienced such disgusting service in any hotel that I ever stayed in. One morning when I turned on my coffee maker, my lights and everything turned off in my room. I called (from a different phone because the one in my room was not working), the front desk said they would have some one check the room...no one ever did. I finally worked the breaker in the room until finally the lights turned on. And finally....there was water POURING from one of the pod lights in the bathroom. I called AGAIN from a different phone, and had someone come immediately to fix the leak in the LIGHT!. Someone came and stopped the water dripping but left debris on all over and the light was "fixed" (pictures attached) with minimal effort. On my second last day. after I complained to the front desk AGAIN about something else...the front desk agent said to contact guest services. Not ONE person told me in the 10 days that i stayed to contact guest services! Also...the table mats in the buffets stunk from washing them with dirty water. The pool tiles were also missing... I WOULD not go to this hotel again.

Honest review
We stayed here for a week. Some things was fantastic some things not so much. The buffet food was good. Breakfast was one of the best buffet breakfast we have come across in an all inclusive holiday. Lunch was ok and dinner was good with a lot more options. The restraunts on site were 50/50. When trying to book we had two separate rooms and had to constantly book separately in hopes to be sat at the same table. Our second night we had the steak house booked. We did not return here. This steak house was ran out of the breakfast and dinner buffet near the beach. While we understand it’s all open plan we did not expect to see mice running around to get to food that was under tables. If food was being sweeped up then maybe they wouldn’t have been running about. This resulted in us leaving the steak restaurant and never dinned in this buffet again. We stuck to the bigger buffet near reception. The Indian was fantastic food and service. We would really recommend to visit. The Italian Ill Tafarno the first night we attended was brilliant the food was amazing and the service was brilliant. We liked it that much we went back for our last meal. Unfortunately the second time was not like the first. The service was still brilliant but the food was an extremely long wait time and we ordered the exact same meal as the first time and was awful second time. We found the male bar staff to be extremely unfriendly. The was one pool bar male staff who was very friendly and sadly did not get his name, he was older with slightly grey hair. However in the restraunts and buffets this was not the case all staff was friendly and welcoming. The female staff walking round asking if you would like drinks were very welcoming and friendly. Considering we don’t speak a word of Spanish we found the staff to be very pleasant and patient. Our room was near the beach and main pool. Was a great location however one massive down fall was we was on the ground floor. Not one day could you get a lie in as the maids was about from 7 am. The hotel is located in a great place and has really good facilities. The beach and pool area is gorgeous and lots of activities in the day time and evening entertainment. I wouldn’t let all bad reviews put you off attending as all hotels there is the good with the bad. Overall we enjoyed our stay minus some food and not being able to sleep and relax in a morning.

BAD STAFF
This is probably the worst hotel we have stayed in, the staff at the rudest staff I have come across including someone called Freddy who is extremely rude. We have had to change room 3 times due to no A/C in one room, we had a blocked toilet for a whole night and nobody came and fixed it. We did not even get an apology from any of the staff and when trying to raise this concern with the staff we were told we can’t give you a night back. DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.

Very big with amazing beach
7 days at Grand Bávaro Princess Room 0503 The great, the good and the ugly I will start with the great: The staff: the service everywhere (but the front desk) was amazing! Very attentive, very friendly, wonderful all around. The beach buffet Jose Gavilian and Joncarlos were wonderful! So helpful and always happy to see us! The service was outstanding. The beach was great! Plenty of beach umbrellas, lounges. The beach is clean, wide and there was always plenty of room. Our room was located close to the beach area, so that was wonderful. We didn’t luck out with the weather, but still had the chance to swim. The ocean was not calm, but very swimmable. If you love the beach, it’s perfect. Beautiful and perfect all around. There is no drink service at the beach, you have to walk to a bar, but there was a bar located right on the beach, and the cups were collected very often so there is no garbage and waste. The food was excellent. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, even though we opted for the buffet. We did end up going to the steak house that was recommended but we did not enjoy it at all. The buffet food was much better and plenty of options! Great cheeses, meats, fish, desserts! To everyone’s likes and desires. The staff were also amazing and always kind. The buffet by the beach was also great, much smaller but still great for breakfast and lunch. The food trucks were also a great option by the beach. Great for a quick snack. Now for the ugly: The room. Our room was on the first floor, which was great and convenient, but we did encounter few cockroaches sitting on our toothbrushes and our shower was not great, the shower head was clogged pretty bad and the pressure was not it. Also there was no proper duvet, just a flat sheet with a blanket if you got cold. And we got cold since the ac is located right above and was blowing cold air right on your head/neck. There was a stale smell in the room at all times. We just figured it was because of the first floor. The toilet made noice all 7 days we were there, it sounded like it was running all the time, but the bed is located far from the bathroom so that helped. The ceiling was chipping off and falling off at time. Also a lack of hot water was very frustrating and it did take them a while to fix the issue. The front desk stuff was not friendly at all. I would say kind of rude. We had a problem with our keys and could not get into our room, so we had to run around multiple times back and forth to only find out later that it was the lock that was the problem and the battery was dead and not so much our key. We waisted 3 hours to having to reprogram our keys. 3 hours, running around in the rain! Insane! With the front desk staff telling us it’s fine, go try it again! The beach towels. We had to bring a card for exchange of a beach towels. A lot of times fresh towels were not available. We had to wait until late afternoon to get a fresh towel. Overall the resort is good. Very big, huge I would say. There is a buggy that goes around every ten minutes (we used the buggy to fix our key situation), but a lot of times it was packed with people because of the rain. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, there are peacocks and different types of birds. There is plenty of sitting area around the bar and the lobby area. The waiters are all very pleasant. The drink are ok and simple, nothing over the top. We would probably not return to this resort as we enjoy a more smaller type, but if you are with kids or big family try it and request a room on the lower floor since there are no elevator and it’s far climb to the third floor with strollers and kids. Hope this helps!
