The all-inclusive program includes the following amenities:
• All meals, snacks and beverages, including beer, wine and cocktails. Additionally, private in-room minibars are restocked daily with beers, soft drinks and water.
• Daily activities include beach volleyball, table tennis, water polo, aquarobics, Beach Olympics, bike tours and darts. Each day, guests enjoy one hour’s free use of bikes, tennis courts (day and night) and snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing equipment. Each guest may also take a one-hour SCUBA lesson in the main pool.
• During the day take part on our learning focused activities for adults and children, get in step with a Merengue lesson, sit in on a cooking or cocktail class, or brush up your language skills with a Spanish lesson. In the evening, there are live shows and musical performances.
• Chaise lounge and towel service are provided at the pool and beach

We really loved this resort from the food to the well appointed and clean rooms to the fantastic entertainment team. A huge shout out to Henry, Carlos and Bryan for ensuring we had many amazing days full of fun and activities. We will definitely be back.

A beautiful resort!
My partner and I had a wonderful Christmas Vacation at the Gran Ventana Resort. I have been a travel professional for over 40 years, and this hotel is among my top resort experiences (for the price) anywhere. I highly recommend every facet of this resort, to families and couples looking for an excellent value and I applaud the resort's great attention to detail (coffee and tea stations for instance) and extra services. The a la carte restaurants and buffet meals were all excellent. This hotel also has the best swimming beach in the Playa Dorada complex and lots of seating on the beach. Our room was large and well kept.

Jan 05, 2025Very comfortable resort, quiet with accommodating staff
Travelled December 16 - 26. Second time here and it didn't let us down although we thought the food was not quite as good as it was in February 2024. It rained every single day and just before Xmas for 2 1/2 days they received 14 inches of rain with a lot of flooding in Puerto Plata and other towns. The staff just keep plowing along and the rain didn't deter them at all. The staff have some uphill battles though since some of the supervisors treat them like slaves ie. female grounds maintenance supervisor and a couple of supervisors in the buffet. Somebody should have a chat with these individuals and straighten them out since it is embarrassing to witness staff being abused in such a way. We purchased the Royal package this time and last time and it is definitely worth the money which includes the Lounge with top shelf alcohol, unlimited ala carte restaurant reservations, private beach, arrival gift of alcohol,turn down service and a couple of other things that didn't mean much to us. Olvi Gomez in the Lounge was special as were Santa, Irene and Sujeidy, the concierge staff that looked after our every need. Adrian in the buffet deserves a special mention because even though his English was not as good as our Spanish he tried very hard and welcomed us every time we entered the buffet.

Fun resort with great and friendly staff!!!
The resort is a great place for families. Rooms are well kept and clean. The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you are having a good time. Henry and Jesus insured my family was happy and helped with a tour and information

NYE at gran ventana
Had a great time at Gran Ventana over new year’s eve! Very comfy beds, beautiful beach, yummy drinks! Jesus made the hotel experience so fun! Great snorkelling opportunities and water sports. New year’s eve party was so much fun! And the hotel has the cutest cats :)
