Fun week at Fiesta Americana!
The main pool was closed and looks like it will be beautiful when completed. The beds are super comfortable. The food was great - fish tacos and ceviche at the oceanfront restaurant for lunch!!! The snorkeling right in front of the hotel was great! Saw rays, angelfish, puffer fish, etc... everyday. Bring your water shoes - no beach area. Plenty of loungers, day bed cabanas. The jewel of the resort is the staff - fun, friendly, very helpful!

Relaxing resort with great service and above average food options
This was our third time visiting the resort as Fiesta Americana Rewards Members. First time that we ever booked the Presidential Suite as we brought a couple of guests with us. Overall it was a fantastic experience that reminded us why we keep coming back. Disappointed that the main pool was not open during our stay but totally understand the need to renovate for the future health of the resort. Heads up for people headed there in the coming weeks, the pool looks to be almost complete. In fact we heard there may be water in it within the next week or so. Pros -The staff here continues to go above and beyond to do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Special shout-outs to Martin for help with our bags upon checking in and departing, Lucio for continuing to do everything he can to help us each stay, Javier for remembering all our drink orders from the previous night's dinner, and all the servers and bartenders that kept our drinks full. One last special shout out to Alexzy for the tip on the proper way to do a Tequila shot! -Suite was clean upon arrival and kept that way throughout our stay. -The Presidential Suite welcome package was stunning. Picture attached. 5 bottles of high quality top shelf liquor. Small downfall was that we had to purchase extra bottles for about $50 USD. -Jacuzzi was filled and warm upon arrival. Jets worked great. Could use some maintenance on the tile work. -Food quality remains high in Rosa and Peninsula. We did not go to the Mexican restaurant. -Oceanside part of the resort is open. Our previous two times it was closed so we were THRILLED it was open. Ceviche restaurant was great. -We booked a snorkeling tour from Cozumel Cruise tours and they pick you up right at the dock on resort! So no need to travel into town. Cons -No way to reserve a day bed as a reward clubs member. First come first serve and most taken by 8:00 am. -Booking the Presidential Suite was supposed to come with a private dinner party with a special Chefs Menu. This was not offered, though we did get an upgrade at dinner one night for free filet and shrimp. -Notice of the main pool being closed was not communicated until two weeks before our stay (We booked in August 2024). The alternate pool by the Gulf is very nice but also very small and cannot accommodate all guests. We ended up doing a day pass to Paradise Beach club (10 minute can ride) so we got a traditional pool outing and some water activities. Overall we look forward to our next time back and highly recommend Fiesta Americana Cozumel. This resort should not be considered as a place where a lot of activities are conducted other than some daily programs and snorkeling on site. If you're looking for a moderately priced resort with great food and service in a relaxing environment you will not be disappointed!

Long weekend
We came for a long weekend trip and it was cut short due to weather back at home but we still had an amazing time. We have been cozumel every year since 2017. We come to cozumel every year with a big group usually in February or March but we find ourselves coming back more often even if it's for a long weekend. This is our 3rd time this year. It was soooo fun to see all the Christmas decorations at the resort and around the island. We love this resort. Even when the beach front was closed we still came. You can tell they are doing the best they can with everything that has happened. It's so nice to see that they are updating the pools and honestly after having hurricane after hurricane this year they have really done well with fixing any repairs. Yes, the resort is a work in progress but I think they are doing well despite the circumstances that have been thrown at them. Even if you take the resort away, we will continue to come back because of the staff. We have been to most of the FA and the service and staff here is unmatched. All staff are amazing but I want to name a few that have been amazing this time. Luis-our concierge Breakfast staff- Arturo, Alejandra, Gabriel, beach servers- Aaron, Anthony Bartenders- Henry, Enrique, Angel, Edgar Housekeeping -Gloria
