Things to Know

It's 37 miles from the airport, about an hour of driving time, during which you can curate your drink menu for the first day.

Lots of kewl excursions to check out: the El Yunque Rainforest, the coral in Bioluminscent Biobay, or a deep sea adventure on the dreamy Atlantic.

Take a high-speed catamaran to (and from) Palomino Island for horseback riding and snorkeling, but you can't do them together. That would be hard.

Head to the marina and take a spin on a high-powered jet ski. If that's too much, descend into the clear blue on a scuba diving adventure.

One of the two funiculars can take you to the ferry that will shuttle you to Palomino Island (au naturel beach, half-nekked people.)

Las Olas Village is accessible by one of the funiculars and is terraced into the cliff side, 100 feet above La Marina Village.

Las Casitas Village is on the hillside below The Grand Hotel and inland from the ocean.
