  Great Holiday

  We were 6 woman traveling and really enjoyed our stay , Staff are amazing and helpful. Our bar tender Jesus was wonderful. Hotel is very clean. The a la cart restaurants were fantastic. No line ups, pretty much walked in. The food was exceptionally fantastic. The buffet was ok but found the food to be cold . Need better warmers to keep stuff hot. The beach had a lot of seaweed but that is no one fault , It was very windy 5 of the 7 days we were there which causes big waves to bring in the seaweed . I would recommend Dreams Tulum .

  There must be a reason for our tenth visit to paradise…

  There must be a reason for our tenth visit to paradise… One? No, loads! There are so many things that make returning to the resort so inevitable for us: Landscape: located some 75 minutes from Cancun airport (or 45 minutes from the newly inaugurated airport in Tulum) a secluded wide-spread estate under environmental protection which offers many features for people enjoying nature: mangroves, a beautifully lit park, a varifold of animals (iguanas, racoons, all sorts of tropical birds) Food: a variety of specialities `restaurants (Mexcian, seafood, French and Italian, Asian and Sushi). If you are a fan of Asian food, do not miss the opportunity to make a reservation for the Habachi table – an experience, both from the presentation and the taste. Me as a particular breakfast lover enjoyed the variety you could choose from at the World Café, ranging from Müsli, all sorts of bread, cold and warm dishes, not to forget the omelettes you can have prepared with all sorts of ingredients according to your taste. Spa: the treatments are a little pricey but definitely worth it. The therapists for massages or other Spa treatments (manicure, pedicure or wedding preparations) are very experienced. We really enjoyed the hydrotherapy and our massages in one of the special glass Cabins / pavillons (rainforest, holistic – beautifully designed and located in the mangroves). Beach: very beautiful in the periods when it is not Sargassum season. Entertainment: a very creative and communicative team. Every night, different show entertains the guests in the patio as well as Live music Kids: Dreams Tulum being a family resort, those will also benefit from the kids being well taken care and entertained in the time their parents want to take a nap or just enjoy the beautiful resort Preferred Club: an upgrade of the rooms is also definitely worth it, not only for the Club room with the bar at night times. And last but not least: the most precious asset of this resort is the STAFF. Everybody goes far and beyond to make the guests feel at home, respond to their basic needs and make even unusual wishes will materialize. So thanks so much to the entire administration headed now by Mr. Ivan Santos, seconded by his very competent assistant Mrs. Rosario, head of divisions (Ruben, Fidel to name but a few) In the World Café, a particular shout out for Nelva, Yeraldi, Veronica, Horlando, Rene (and all those other lovely colleagues, we miss you). Himitsu: gracias, dear Alva! Portofino: Senor Carlos. Mr. Luis Rojas we know from our previous visits and were so happy to greet him again this time around Beach Club: Hector was a very polite and creative replacement for the person regularly heading this area. Spa: Mr. Ivan is really an excellent therapist and so are his female colleages). Last but not least a special thanks to our concierge Mayra who did her outmost in all queries we approached her with. So we will be back!

  Experience did not match the advertised Expectations

  After going through customs, passengers were greeted by people that were presenting as tour guide/advisors. Only to be an extension of the properties timeshare team! On my first full day, I spent 90 minutes of my time listening to people, whom I repeatedly informed that i was not interested in signing up or investing in their program. It left a sour taste in my mouth. I arrive to the beach, fully crowded, and before I can get a spot a staff member approaches offering to take my photo. Every where i turned, a staff member was trying to sell a product! I visited, all inclusive resorts & spas in west indies and never had this experience. I won't be visiting this location in the future. the decor is outdated, and the staff's customer services felt scripted and robotic.

  Great Vacations

  We were at the hotel in April and had such a great time. The animation team was amazing and had great activities. We had the most fun in volleyball, aquaerobics, and maya lessons. Angel and Rony were the best. At breakfast Melani made our experience. Always with a huge smile!

  An amazing second honeymoon destination!

  Our room was lovely and clean. Location in the adult's only section was within a short walk to everything. Gilberto at the swim up bar was a delight and his service was amazing. Hugo was our waiter for our romantic dinner and he was charming, attentive and professional. Adan, Fernando were excellent. Our housekeeper Silvia did an amazing job and we thoroughly enjoyed the photographers, Miguel was so helpful and Bruno did an amazing job with our photo shoot. The French restaurant was our favourite. This was an amazing trip, the entertainment was well done and food choices were plentiful. No line ups for anything.
