Please don’t waste your money
I’ve never been so disappointed. This trip was a complete waste of money and time. The quality of the food is terrible and inedible. Just by looking at the food, you can tell it’s awful. Even something as simple as milk didn’t look right and tasting it confirms you should spit it out. There are far better resorts for a fraction of the cost. For the price, I expected much better but I would settle for edible (which wasn’t the case)

ok for families and defining not work it for adults- just blah
I have been to two other dreams. this one is the worst and least favorite one. maybe because since hyatt took over everything wend downhill. My husband and I splurged on preferred club to then get to the hotel and be told very rudely that we get two queen beds and there is no king even though the hotel staff also told us they were not busy. great. i have to downgrade from my king at home to a queen. second the room smelled of mold very badly. i had to air it out every time i came back to the room. the food was mediocre. breakfast is the best, good fruit and other options. specialty restaurants were ok. if your considering preferred club, its not really worth it unless you plan on spending lots of time in cabana beds. all the other benefits are not really worth anything. the 20% off at the spa is not a good deal since they give you better promotions. you do not get different preferential treatment with preferred. our friends arrived the next day and got a better room and king bed. if you have kids they do have the kids club and waterpark. the big slides barely get used because they were not built properly and when you sit on them you basically have to push yourself along the entire time. the beach is nice. i will give them that. nightly shows are pretty lame. fine for kids but not adults.

Beautiful property ruined by poor food, bed bugs
Was really looking forward to getting a winter getaway in Cancun as I was traveling from SLC which was snowing and brutally cold the week before I arrived. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was pretty significant. Factor in about an hour travel. I didnt mind, however, as I was appreciative of the quiet seclusion. Arrival was very efficient and the staff were very helpful. The app was a big help in finding the various restaurants and amenities on not only the Dreams property, but the sister property, Secrets, which was right next door. Was very happy with the standard room on arrival. Very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was a bit wonky as there was about a three quarter gap between the door and the rest of the shower surrounding, which resulted in water getting all over the floor, which was VERY slippery when wet. The only solution was using one of the bath towels to mop it up and having a sopping wet towel on the floor in perpetuity. While the rooms and property were satisfactory to even exceeding expectations, the food was a major disappointment, which imo is a deal killer at an all-inclusive. Bars were good to very good, but of the properties several restaurants and room service options, there was not a single meal that felt like it shined. Even at the mexican restaurant, it felt completely lifeless and halfhearted. At Gaucho's, the brazilian steakhouse, the servers would have a hard time identifying what they were serving and the quality was substandard. I feel like it is important to realize at an all inclusive in Mexico, you need to have appropriate expectations. When we called for room service for breakfast, we were notified that orders would take two hours to arrive. That happened each morning that we stayed at the resort. We were not looking to have a Michelin star quality experience. But even with those lowered expectations, we were very disappointed to the point of not even wanting to eat at all. The nail in the coffin was when I woke up the second morning with bed bug bites on my stomach. When I stripped the bed, we found a couple of the bugs, but there wasn't evidence of gross negligence from the housekeeping staff. Its extremely unsettling, regardless, but I also know that this is part of traveling. It happens to the best resorts. I immediately reported it to the front desk and they were happy to get a room change as soon as possible as well as laundered my clothes free of charge. But after the room change, there was no follow up by the hotel nor did they make any attempts to make it right. Like I said, I understand the situation, but to not offer to make it right was a big disappointment. Overall, I couldn't recommend the property to family and friends. Was a big disappointment.

Wedding fun in Mexico!
I went for a wedding celebration and was blown away by the service and rainy weather lol. Luis, Resort Activities director, remember me and my friends and would joke with us every time he saw us. The food was tasty and the drinks even tastier. I immediately started looking into coming again

A nice vacation experience with family!
We spent 5 days at Dreams Mujeres for a wedding and had a wonderful experience! A great resort with beautiful beach with excellent customer service and friendly staff , ideal for a family vacation! Our grandkids would love the water park and the climbing wall for sure! Love the choice of different restaurants and their food selection.
