This resort far exceeded my expectations for an all inclusive! I cannot say enough about how fantastic the staff was with our children. The Dominican in general seems to be incredibly family friendly. This resort is beautiful and clean! There are plenty of pools and activities in addition to a stunning beach. The main pool has a fun, but not obnoxious vibe. The water park/lazy river is super fun although the water in that pool is quite chilly as it’s mostly in the shade. Food was decent! You have to go in with the expectation you’re at an AI. Restaurants were okay but we actually enjoyed the Carnival buffet the most. I was surprised because I’m not typically a buffet person. We had such a great time we were actually really sad to leave and are looking to return next year!

Excellent Stay!
We had a wonderful time at the Dreams Onyx. Our butler Angel made our stay even better. The beach is kept clean, the resort is well-maintained. The food is quite good, entertainment on-point, lots of bars to get drinks from, overall, we had a great vacation!

Wonderful family vacation !
Preferred Club and our Butler Alvaro made all the difference!!! We are regular travelers and always book preferred club, generally the butler service is good but not special… this time was different, Alvaro went above and beyond to make this an awesome family vacation. Preferred Club was worth the money as well … made for better dinner and beach experience. Overall Hotel I’d well maintained, beaches are beautiful and lots of chairs (hotel was at high capacity)c rooms clean, comfortable and spacious. Food was just Ok.

Wonderful family vacation like no other
Dreams onyx Punta Cana is the best resort we’ve even been to! From the room to the staff cleanliness beach food! We highly recommend it! Thank you to all the wonderful staff at the restaurants cafe ice cream shop beach! Thank you Alexander jasmin Vero pineapple and sorry if I can’t remember the names of the rest

Dreams onyx is the best!
Fabulous place to stay staff was exceptional service was excellent accomodations were beautiful. The entertainment staff deserve extra accolades especially Junior who goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves! Loved dreams onyx and will recommend to everyone I know!
