    Dreams Macao was ideal for me.

    Third trip to Punta Cana and the staff at Dreams Macao was the best we have encountered. Smaller resort then others, ideal for couples and families with young children. A little less action/activities for older teenagers. Ideal for people that spend more time at the pools than at the beach.

    Decent resort

    The resort is decent nicely kept, clean and the rooms are spacious. The food is good but not great no consistency with the service. The Spa was very good, the pools are nice the beach is nice and clean but the ocean is rough couldn’t swim long in it. Night entertainment is very lame not up to par. It’s good for families with young children they have children pools with water slides and more. Over all is not a bad resort just watch the guys in the lobby once you check in they haunt you to do the 1 1/2 tour to sell you a time share and they keep pushing to do it.

    If you don't book here that would be NUTZ!!!

    Nothing at all to complain about at this resort. If you don't book here that would be your loss!!! I can usually find a few things to complain about at every resort BUT not this one. Also, we partied with a lot of groups of people and nobody had anything bad to say. All ++++++++++

    Great experience

    Excellent stay, relaxed vibe, pristine grounds, great experience. An excellent service overall! Notable highlights: fun water slides, many bars and food areas open all day. Coco cafe is great for coffee and ice cream. Great buffet with many choices including plenty of healthy options and tons of local fresh fruits that never run out. Many thanks to Jorge at the lobby bar for the rum tasting; Diana from the teens club who was amazing with our two boys 10 & 14 yrs old; Guadelupe our housekeeper; Eddy the bellman; Verya (?) at the bar in front of buffet; Papa Chicken with the big smile by the beach/pool and Joel from the gym. Gracias! Suggestions for management: you need more beach chairs and huts as there are not enough; add some hooks to the huts to hang items. Buffet: you need more people to cook pasta. The lineups for pasta were huge. Also, the breakfast rush from 9-10 is too packed. You need to open a second restaurant for breakfast. Lastly, what is the point of the preferred guest areas ? The 2 pools for preferred guests should be open to everyone.

    Great Family Resort

    Excellent resort for a family vacation. Enjoyed our time there at this resort. The staff was tremendous and very attentive to everyone's needs. If you are travelling with kids and would like to take advantage of the larger slides, they will need to be atleast 3.9 feet tall and the staff enforces this height restriction without leniency.
