Dreams Los Cabos - The truth is in the name
I had a great time at Dreams, Los Cabos. This was my 10th time here and the service is what always keeps me coming back. This time around Dulce stole the show, by going above and beyond and remembering so many details of my lady time here. Thank you, Dulce for making this trip not only a family vacation but a welcome back party. Cheers

They will find ways to charge you extra!
This is a rip off. They find ways to charge you more. We booked well in advance to save. But our son turned 13 at the time of checking. Their website did not have any note about the age requirement for kids should be at the time of check-in (or something to that effect) We were totally surprised when they said they need to charge us extra during check-in. Our stay was ruined and we were psychologically affect by this during and even until now after the stay. We have filed a lawsuit and it is in process.

Short-staffing sours otherwise great all-inclusive experience
I have just returned home from a week in Cabo where I stayed at Dreams Los Cabos with my husband and three little kids over spring break. With kids aged 6, 4, and 1, this resort was a great fit for our family: the room was spacious and a 1-bedroom suite worked really well for us; the Explorers Club was excellent and offered so many choices of age-appropriate activities for our kids throughout the day; and the evening entertainment was a standout favourite for us all! The family pool area was lively and all of us had fun, even though we would have enjoyed more water slides and water park amenities outside of the kids club as the Explorers Club only offers one hour of water park play per day. Unfortunately our experience was somewhat soured by the lack of staff at the resort. Everywhere we went and most things we did, it felt like we were waiting around and were often inconvenienced by things like no towels at the pool, 2-hours waiting for a dinner table despite seeing numerous empty tables in the restaurants, and having to phone reception multiple times to have our kids’ beds set up, among other things. The staff at the resort were all so kind, attentive, and capable, and many of them really hustling… but there simply weren’t enough of them! Standout staff who appeared to work tirelessly in some of the busiest environments were Elsa & Mercedes at the family pool, Ever at the Oceana restaurant, Angelina at the Portofino restaurant, and all of the servers at the lobby bar. Jessica and the entertainment team were also wonderful! Thank you to everyone working at Dreams who did their best to ensure that we had a wonderful stay

Don't Waste Your Money
My family and I recently stayed at Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa for 3 nights and 4 days, booking a Preferred Club One Bedroom Suite Ocean Front Swim Out King. While the room itself was spacious, clean, and featured a lovely heated swim-out pool with two patios, the overall experience fell short of our previous visit about nine years ago. Booking & Pricing Issue When we originally reserved the room, we were quoted a specific rate. However, upon check-in, we were surprised to find that we were charged $280 more than the original booking price. This unexpected price increase was frustrating and not communicated in advance, making for a disappointing start to the trip. Room & Amenities The suite itself was spacious, featuring two closets, two patios with tables, and two chaise lounge chairs, which we appreciated. The heated swim-out pool was a highlight, offering a relaxing and private experience. However, while the room was clean, the furniture showed noticeable wear and tear, giving it a dated feel. Service & Staff Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent and disappointing compared to past experiences at this and other Dreams resorts: On two consecutive days at the Preferred beach section, service was scarce, with staff only coming by twice to offer food or drinks. In the past, we were accustomed to much more frequent and attentive service. On one occasion, my wife was turned away at the bar and told that our waitress would come to her, despite other guests being served directly at the bar. Room service was unreliable. On two mornings, we ordered breakfast via the app, only for it to arrive late or not at all. When we followed up, we were told it was on its way, but it never arrived on the second day. Housekeeping was inconsistent. On the second day, we called at 2:30 pm to request our room be cleaned. They didn’t show up until we were getting ready for dinner, which forced us to wait to get cleaned up while they serviced the room. Dining Experience The dining experiences were hit or miss: Oceana, which was supposed to open at 5:30 pm, didn’t open until 5:45 pm, and we weren’t seated until 6:00 pm due to a long line. The waitstaff seemed surprised by our request to order everything at once, despite us being tired and our daughter being very hungry. Oceana and Bordeaux did not offer kids’ menus, which was inconvenient for families. Given the resort’s family-friendly branding, this was disappointing and added to the meal-time frustration. The breakfast buffet was oddly inefficient. Despite 10 open tables, we were told there was a 15-minute wait, which made no sense. Thankfully, Amilcar, one of the servers, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional—providing the best service we experienced during our stay. Bordeaux was recently renovated and looked beautiful. It now allows children aged 8 and older, which upset some families expecting an adults-only atmosphere. At Portofino, the mahi-mahi was inedible due to a strong, off-putting smell, which ruined our meal. The Coco Café staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which was a bright spot. Entertainment & Activities The Pirate Show and Fire and Water Show were enjoyable and provided some fun evening entertainment. Other Guests’ Feedback We met a family staying in a similar suite who were Unlimited members. They echoed our frustrations, stating that the service and overall quality had declined significantly since their last visit. They were so disappointed that they were actively trying to switch resorts during their two-week stay. Check-In & Resort Access Check-in was smooth, and we appreciated being able to use the resort amenities while waiting for our room to be ready at 3:00 pm. However, the unexpected $280 price increase at check-in left a sour taste. The beach in front of the resort is unswimmable, requiring a short walk toward the rocks to find a safe swimming area. Overall Impression While the room itself was spacious and comfortable, the service, food quality, and overall experience were disappointing compared to our prior visit. The inconsistent service, unreliable room service, lack of attention to detail, and poor housekeeping timing made the stay underwhelming. Adding to the frustration was the unexpected price increase at check-in, which made the overall experience feel even less worthwhile.

Very nice property and a great location
After my last day at a Hyatt property in Cozumel, I swore I’d never go back. But it was a big family get together and celebration. I was pleasantly surprised. The property itself is great. Sits right on the water, although the beaches are not swimmable, But we were entertained with whales and lots of jumping fish. The property has a nice vibe and is very safe and secure. We had a couple of service hiccups like waiting 2 1/2 hours for breakfast room service that was delivered to another room and sitting 60 minutes waiting for a table that was empty at one of the restaurants. We really enjoyed the French restaurant all in all it was a really good visit.
