  Best service ever

  Dulce and Adan were wonderful servers at @dreams in Cabo!!!! They invented some cocktails and had us test them. Very friendly. High-quality drinks and food. A wonderfully ideal setting. The servers were very personal and extremely creative.

  Great for Families with Small Kids

  The good: • Pool side service and bar service was awesome! Luis and Emelio were phenomenal, we had them nearly every day. They knew our orders from Day 2 and had drinks coming when they saw ours was empty. • Size of the resort - it was on the medium to smaller end of resorts, which was great with a kid. By the end of Day 6 though, we were ready for a change of scenery. • Private double deck cabanas with private pools - these were amazing and the best cabanas I’ve ever been in! We had it from 10am-5pm, 2 servers, and it all to ourself. It was $600 for the day and 100% worth it. • Kid accommodations: there were several activities for kids available, all the staff were friendly with kids, and the Kids Club was cool. we didn’t utilize the in room babysitting service, but it is available there. The bad / could be better: • Food in general was okay. It wasn’t the most flavorful food I’ve had at a resort, and certainly wasn’t the worst. However the restaurant Bordeux was THE BEST restaurant on site, we went back 3 nights. Very flavorful and fresh. • We had Preferred Club access because of status with Hyatt, but there’s no way for staff to distinguish this because guests do not wear wristbands. If you wanted top shelf liquor or to access the special access beach or the PC lobby, you always had to tell them you were PC status. It got pretty annoying. • Rooms are dated and so are several parts of the resort. However, they’re doing major renos. All the main level rooms will soon be a swim out suite. The ones on the Adults Side are nearly done and will be open in a month. Half the restaurants have also been renovated and are beautiful, as well as the lobby. • Tipping got us better, friendlier, faster service.

  Rip off

  They are a rip off. We booked 6 months in advance. The online booking doesn't specify the kids age to be entered at the time of checkin. We booked it for $700/day for a family of 4 in a double room. As my son turned 13 few weeks before checkin date, during checking they used the opportunity to charge us insane amount for an additional $190/day when that day the booking rate for an entire family of all adults was costing less than $500/day. The staff at the counter kept repeating the same answer about policy and they didnt know proper english.

  Wonderful service at a beautifully serene resort

  Wonderful service! Everyone we encountered was so helpful and friendly and spoke English quite well. If you don’t speak Spanish you’ll still have a great experience. Our room service/room cleaner Mercedes did a wonderful job. Once we needed a full bed sheet/comforter change late in the day and she was very prompt to help us and very thorough. We had great servers at every restaurant. My kids really liked the breakfast at world cafe. According to my 7 year old “they have the best waffles I’ve ever had in my life”. I enjoyed a freshly made omelette full of veggies and freshly made smoothie every morning at world cafe. It was delicious! Our whole family really enjoyed Barefoot Grill—a yummy place right on the beach with delicious pulled pork, chicken teriyaki burgers, and Chicago dogs to name a few of our favorites. America was a very kind and prompt server there. My husband’s favorite restaurant was Portofino. The pizza there was excellent with sourdough crust! The flank steak at Seaside Grill was melt in your mouth delicious. My kids LOVED Coco cafe and the yummy hot chocolate and sweets. The entertainment team was so fun! Martin, Nirvana and all the other team members worked so hard to make sure there were fun games and classes going on all the time. Having Blue spot photography right at the resort was such a privilege. We had to use two photographers because our children were having a hard time during the first session. Ivonne and Mauricio were very patient. The session is free and you can choose packages or a single image for $25 each. Now we have a beautiful picture of our family with the gorgeous blue sea of Cortez to remember our family vacation. The pool was so big and we loved the swim up bar. My kids spent most of the time in the pool. The bell hops were very kind and helpful when we needed taxis and transportation into the city and back to the airport. The resort is so lovely and the grounds are very well kept. We would love to come back someday!

  Great Spot!!

  Great staff but food and hotel need a little work. Regardless, this location is great. The staff makes it worth it. Every single person that works there is absolutely amazing. My top are the folks at Rendezvous, Bordeaux and World Cafe. Go and have a great time!
