Not worth the price.
This resort is not worth the money. There are a lot of nice pools, but the beach is very small and not well kept. There are only a few old chairs on the beach and no servers. The rooms are old and hot. Our room had a bad smell and never dropped below 74 degrees even though we had it set lower. The toilets don't flush well. Our AC shut off completely one of the days within our stay. The front desk workers were not on the same page as far as when things opened. The restaurants are mediocre. Overall, it was a nice vacation in a warm tropical place with a lot of nice pool area. But, for this price, we've stayed at much nicer resorts. The beach is small and not a place you want to hang out. The food is mediocre. And the rooms are old and hot.

Great resort!
Beautiful resort with excellent pools, good food, and friendly staff. We stayed for a week with 3 generations of our family, ages 11 to 83, and everyone had a great time. Lots of activities if you want to opt in. Be prepared to walk a lot, the resort is large. Also if you plan to do day trips around CR, plan for a full day. Finally, if you are shopping for beaded jewelry, Alexia at the beach has great styles and prices and will customize for you.

Costa Rica Dreams!
This remote resort is the sort dreams are made of with gorgeous views, exceptional grounds, an attentive staff and fantastic amenities. A few insider tips.... order the after dinner coffee experience at El Patio, splurge for the spa and spend the extra time to indulge in hydrotherapy first, book the excursions - they are worth your day and order every sushi roll you can at Gohan just to get it delivered to you on a bridge tray. Also, if in a room with two beds, try them both, they are different! And finally, do the room backed up to the trees in building 5 or 6 and wake up by 7:00 a.m. to watch the monkeys. They come out by 7:30 every day!

Relaxing Stay, Great Food, and Excellent Service
Dreams Las Mareas exceeded our expectations. We've been to other all inclusives, but this experience was very different. We upgraded to the Preferred Club and we loved have access to that area. The amenities in the room were so nice. The Concierge made sure that we were satisfied every day...we were especially happy with Keylor. The food was really good an plentiful. I would love to stay there again!

Visit Playa El Jobo La Cruz De Guanacaste El Jobo for a truely magical vacation
My wife and I have been here a few times and it always feels special mainly due to the extra very friendly staff. The grounds are immaculately kept and the whole resort has a jungle feel to it with lots of wildlife plus birds singing etc... There are lots of pools to choose from and always sunbeds available. The restaurants are all excellent with lots of options, top tip not everything is listed on the menus, so just ask if you want something different. The beach is about 800 metres wide with a cool ocean temp most of the year. We did the morning hike tour with the hotel entertainment team. wear good walking shoes and take a bottle of water the hike ranges from 1.5 to 2hrs. Jesus took us out for the sunset kayaking we ended up on a beach around the headland that was empty (Thank you so much Jesus, we really enjoyed this surprise) As we have been so many times to CR we have done most of the usual excursions however, we have never gone to Nicaragua, so we booked it via Nexus tours (the rep is next to the coffee shop in the hotel) this was so much fun and very interesting a 10/10 trip. Like most resorts Dreams has a few stand out staff members that I feel deserve a special mention: Luis Carlos our Preferred Concierge, our go to guy for anything and everything. Luis (Wiz Carlos) is such a sweat guy and very efficient in his job Edgar our friend and amazing barman always makes the best cocktails Jesus another friend and top guy making sure his guests have a fun time Natalia is so sweat and makes sure we join in all her fun activities around the resort Thank you Dreams for another amazing 2 weeks in paradise, hope to see you all again soon.
