The resort is lovely, staff are excellent and the food is good. Where it all goes to pieces is the fact that they allow outside companies to throw company parties on the lawn outside of guest rooms. Music blasting, lights flashing, drunks yelling. The music was so loud we couldn't hear our own TV . It took 3 complaints to the front desk who pretended they knew nothing about it and had no control over it, to at least get the music turned down a bit. They assured us the party would end at 10PM, but didn't end until 11 PM.

Great beach, pretty good swimming, great staff, good food and beverages. Consistent quality. Clean. Great views. The Preferred upgrade is worth it if you like access to a private lounge and a special place on the beach. They treat you well. Pillows were the only disappointment. This resort is pretty good for celiac. Some celiac guides were excellent but others did not really seem to understand. Thankfully my celiac sister only got glutened once. I recommend this resort.

Great staff made our stay
Had a wonderful stay at Dreams Huatulco Resort and Spa. Angel made sure our dietary restrictions were looked after and that we are always well looked after. Angel and his amigos Aaron, Guadalupe, Daniel, Gonzalo, Pedro, Antonio and Epifanio were awesome! Thank you!

If this were rated a 2-3 star hotel it would be fine but this is nowhere near a 5 star hotel. Food, cleanliness, attentiveness— everything was below subpar. We were really looking forward to our stay as the most relaxing part of our vacation and couldn’t have been more disappointed.

Excellent
Loved the infinity pool and beach. Also the drinks of the day. Food was good especially paella and BBQ fest Room was clean. Enjoyed Oaxaca festival. The city tour and boat tour was fun. Would definitely recommend and come again. Aerobics class was fun
