Repeat Visit
This is our second visit to Dreams. We had a large ocean front room with a spacious bath. Housekeeping was very good and the room was always well kept and the amenities stocked. This property has six pools so you could always find a place to swim. We saw more people heading down to save chairs this year, some as early as 5:30 am. Unfortunately, some people ‘saved chairs’ and then didn’t use them for several hours which was unfair to other guests. The beach and ocean area is quite accessible. This year we experienced a couple of days when the ocean was quite rough and some large waves hit the beach. There are palapa’s on the beach, however, some have been removed over the last year. Hopefully these will be replaced as there is a need/desire for shade. There is no need for reservations for the al a carte restaurants which is really nice. You can decide each day where you want to dine. The Hyatt App was very helpful with managing your restaurant decisions and your activities. The staff work very hard to ensure you enjoy your stay. If there is anything you want, just ask.

Another good trip to Dreams at Huatulco.
The rooms and resort are clean and staff are very kind and very helpful. I found the resort is a bit aging, but some maintenance is happening, so that is helpful. Gennaro in the preferred lounge and Sandi at the preferred beach were our two favorite employees.

Reservation Manager - Diani Reyes
Diani Reyes is the Reservation Manager at Dreams. My family travelled to Dreams Huatulco December 16 and it was a rather large group that had a few requests during their stay (adjoining rooms, birthdays). Diani personally made sure all these requests were fulfilled. Thank you so much for your excellent service Diane ! We will see you in November, 2025.

Another Great Trip to Huatulco!
Another excellent experience. Our 6th time and we love it. Genaro in the Preferred Lounge is the best and was wonderful. He always was present and met our needs. Another great example of staff who really cares. Sandi at the beach was also super helpful and another shining star.

Third time isn’t the charm!
This is our third visit to Dreams. Our first two were fantastic! However, this trip was lacking. The staff, as always, was fabulous. The hotel, although showing its age, was very clean. The pool/ocean are the best but we were disappointed to see they had dismantled the roof covering in one area by the main pool. Umbrellas don’t give the best protection. The food has changed greatly since our last visit & leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast was good but lunch & dinner included over or undercooked meat & many unidentifiable sauces. Two weddings, a fiesta & a barbecue evening kept us up most of the night. The music was very loud but did stop at 11:00 pm, however, the dismantling of the event went on until the wee hours of the night. We love the Dreams Resort and will be back next year. Hopefully, the food & noise problems will be resolved.
