Clean, quite, comfortable
The resort was lovely. Quite. Good service. Clean rooms. Beach was good. Fun to snorkel and go in the ocean. Love the pool side rooms with their own lazy river. Food was decent. The restaurants at Dreams were good. We didn't have a chance to venture to the other hotels to try theirs out. I will say that the beach chairs thing really isn't that big of an issue. There are two other hotels just next door that also have beach chairs. We were just fine with chairs on the beach every single day we were there and we didn't get down there till about 8:30/9. This is our 9th year coming to Cozumel. Stayed at the Melia in the past. Both resorts a very comparable to each other. No complaints from us. Highly suggest this resort. The taco shop not even a block down from Dreams is amazing.

Quiet, Beautiful resort with clean updated rooms.
Great beach to snorkel but bring water shoes as its a bit rocky. Restaurants are good with variety of food and great service. Almost all have water views and all have outdoor dining if wanted. Get to beach by 5am if you want a lounger beachfront, pools loungers are somewhat easier to get. Beautiful sunsets with watching various boats and cruise ships go by. Tried hydrotherapy at spa and loved it. It's a must try if you're new to it. Beware the high pressure sales team for Hyatt vacation club. You will get compensated for your time even if you decline though so it was worth the 2 1/2 hrs for us.

The worst resort in Mexico
This was the worst Resort I have ever visited. The staff refused to provide quality service. If you travel in a large party, the service gets worse. The staff at the restaurant was the worst. They did not want to serve the party I traveled with, My party waited 5 hours to eat a one of the restaurants. The excursions are all rip off. The resort did not provide transportation to the excursions. We had to rent taxi cabs. The food was bland, over cooked most meals.

Worse Experience
Main thing was that the maids would clean the rooms and never leave any towels. Also the food was really terrible. It tasted like they cooked it and let it sit out until you asked for it at dinner. I also got really sick from it. I have been feeling terrible since I left.

Fun and relaxing 40th birthday trip with friends!
Was a great place to stay. Was worried after reading many terrible reviews. It was a beautiful resort, with good food and drinks, nice staff. We had a few cranky bartenders otherwise great. Buffet could have had more variety and a bigger pool that got more sun and more lounge chairs.
