I was curious about visiting the property after I received an email from Hyatt that after May this resort would not be available through Hyatt. There was multiple issues with the room. It was definitely not the Dreams Resort experience we imagined.

Stay In an AirBNB instead
Nice place but lacking in good food for the prices you pay to stay here. Pools are below average. Beach area is nice to sit at but the whole area is full of old reefs that have been ruined by tourists. No area for just standing in the ocean and enjoying the water. Staff is nice. Place is clean. Prices at the spa are Extremely high. Rooms are nice. Cleaning staff is great. But we waited for two hours on the beach for orders because they only have one person waiting on hundreds of beach chairs. Not worth the prices you pay to stay here for food and services.

Such a wonderful trip. Loved the swim out. The bathroom was big and clean. They filled our fridge everyday. We used room service which was pretty quick. Food was okay. The buffet was okay… great cheeses and sweet breads. We don’t eat meat so not sure how that was. Loved the fish at oceana. The staff was fantastic always greeted you with a smile. Room was spacious tv only gets a few channels in English … all news but who is there to watch tv?!! I wish they played more Latin music by the pool but that is our only complaint .. which isn’t a complaint. Oh and tip the workers!! They work very hard to make your stay pleasurable! Used @smiggies_excursion_concierge and he took us on our own private tour… was FANTASTIC! !

Family fun and beautiful views
This resort was perfect for our family of 4 plus grandparents. There were beautiful views everywhere you look. There were plenty of food options and the staff were fantastic. My family enjoyed the activities and the entertainment staff. Andri was wonderful! He encouraged our family to participate in events which we meet new people and laughed a whole lot. We are hoping to come back soon!

The service was really good. People are very friendly 90% of the restaurants were good morning buffet could use a little work. Where is there’s lots of food it’s just not quality. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. I would suggest that they take the eyesore of the pool kids plastic playground out of the center of the pool and if you want seating around the pool or the beach, you have to get up by 6:30 AM and mark your spot.
- AdvisoryThe Municipal Government will be charging all guests in the area of Cozumel an Environmental Sanitation Tax of a minimum $75.99 pesos, ($4.00 usd approximately) per room per night.
