Jan 18, 2025Our butler Ivan was the best!!!
One of the cleanest and friendliest resorts I’ve been to. We recently stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. There was an issue with the wedding venue so they moved her wedding last minute. Not ideal but they were still able to make it beautiful. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating especially Ivan, our butler! We stayed in one of the ambition suites so we would have a jetted tub. Unfortunately it was not working properly. A simple text to Ivan and he handled everything for us. After a couple days and maintenance trips it was fixed and ready to use on our last night. Ivan had already been amazing during our entire stay. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked in every day. He went above and beyond on our final night by setting up a special dinner at Mezes, then when we returned to our room we were surprised to find a beautiful plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a tub already filled with hot water and bubbles. It was perfect and a great ending to a wonderful trip!

Amazing! The friendliest staff! Carlos, Eduardo and I believe his name was Oscar were Amazing! Everything was so clean and inviting. Very pleasing. I believe everyone would enjoy this resort. There is plenty for all to do and many different meal options.

BEST RESORT for your wedding- 2025 bride!!
I picked my wedding venue for this ONCE in a lifetime event!! Dreams/Secrets EXCEEDED my expectations! The room was luxurious, the pools were always clean, the food and restaurants had variety and were delicious. If i can redo my wedding at Dreams i would ABSOLUTELY do it!

I hate giving a 1 star review, but feel the need to warn others that theft is common at this resort and the hotel security will compromise evidence to protect their own. My wife and I were having lunch at one of the beautiful pool restaurants (Olio) hours before our close friends wedding that was taking place at this resort. I had brought my laptop with me, as we were MC’ing the wedding and putting the final touches on our script, then set the laptop on the chair next to me as we had lunch. I got back to the room and quickly realized my vacation brain had left my laptop at the restaurant! Thankfully our room was very close to the restaurant, we were literally the only people eating there right before they closed. I went back to Olio and it was closed. Immediately reported the missing laptop to concierge who told security and was assured “we have everything on camera and will get your laptop back to you shortly sir”. We went to our friends wedding and our server from Olio was actually working at the wedding. I asked him if he happened to see the laptop on the chair at our table and he said “Yes, we have it”. This is where things get very shady… the next day security told me they did not find a laptop but had video evidence of me bringing it back to my room. Great! Maybe I misremembered? The laptop wasn’t in our room. They sent 2 guys to strip search the room as apart of the investigation. “So did someone steal this from our room? That doesn’t really make sense, nothing else was taken.” I was assured again that this happens all the time and I will get this property back. Everything is on film. I hear nothing for a few days, decide to just enjoy vacation and let them do their search. 2 days later I finally message security asking for an update. “We have video of you leaving it in the business centre, we can’t show you though” Now I’m actually going Sherlock Holmes on this mystery theft. I finally demand to see footage. After arguing about why I can’t see the camera footage for 10’min they finally show me a video of me walking to Olio with a laptop, then the video stops and they show me a still image of myself with my arm removed from the photo saying “see you didn’t have it in the restaurant!” I point out that I can tell someone has doctored the photo and they just say there is nothing they can do. I ask if they have questioned our server who said he grabbed the laptop, apparently he was off work the rest of the time I was there. I’ve never seen something like this from a 5 star resort. The resort is beautiful, we honestly had a great time there (outside of this incident) but just be very careful with any belongings. It’s my fault for leaving a valuable lying around but the cover up on them stealing from guests is on another level.

Love It
Highly recommend. Great food, great service, great facilities. Didn’t feel the need to leave the resort for an excursion, there was plenty to entertain the whole family on site for 5 days. Wanted to rebook for next year before we had even left. A wonderful experience.
