I would return for the spa alone!
The property is beautiful, the staff is customer service oriented, the beds are comfy, there is lots of food variety, the water park is a blast, but...it's the SPA that is one of the most amazing places I've ever experienced! From the moment you walk in, they handhold you to a shower, steam room, ice cool down, sauna, mineral baths complete with underwater massagers and complimentary refreshers and snack, ice bath (optional), all BEFORE you even get a massage! The massage rooms are luxurious, and the therapists very well trained. 2 hours in the spa and I didn't want to leave!

BEWARE you wont want to leave.
This resort is paradise. Great for families, couples, singles. Staff is super friendly, very welcoming. Any restaurant you visit on the premises has the most amazing food. EVERYTHIGN IS YUMMY. This is also a very safe resort located 30min from the airport.

Best Resort Ever.
Best resort ever! Everything was so clean and the staff was attentive to every detail. Food was amazing. We got married here and it was better than I could have ever imagined. Ximena and her team brought my vision to life and truly made my wedding day so amazing.

Terrific resort and highly recommend
Terrific resort. Really well managed and would recommend for families/couples. We upgraded to a room with swim up pool but one of the few times I would not recommend the additional spend as it's only knee deep and very narrow so not really usable. Would just go with a basic room. Also some building work on adjacent site to the Dreams side of the hotel so careful about noise when booking. One thing that wasn't apparent to us when booking was the Dreams/Secrets layout. Basically it's the exact same hotel but half is 'families' and half is 'adult couples'. Dreams (families) can use pretty much everything except one Italian restaurant. We did use this one night when kids were minded and while food was very good, it lacked atmosphere so not really missing much. The resort is pretty huge so takes a while to figure out where everything is, but so much to see and do. We didn't use the kids club but it looked pretty good also. A few pros (and very few cons) Pros: - Great selection of restaurants and good quality food - Huge selection at the buffet (I normally am not a big fan of buffet but this was pretty incredible) - Decent selection of cocktails but specify what spirit you want as if not told they will use the house version - Really great service from front of house to restaurant to pool staff. Everyone greets the guests and says hi which creates a lovely atmosphere. Never waiting long to get served. - Fantastic pools for kids from pirate ship or younger kids to really decent slides for kids and adults alike - Loads of activities Cons: - Really very little but the main one is the beach. It looks nice in the photos but it's pretty rocky and hard to swim in. Our youngest stood on a sea urchin also which wasn't great as you can't see the bottom. - Wine selection is pretty yuck. We would be more wine than spirit drinkers and struggled to find something drinkable. It might be a US/Mexican thing but to upgrade from the standard house to a better bottle was ridiculously expensive. In other all inclusives (Europe based) you can spend another say €30 on top of an all inclusive allowance to upgrade the wine but it would have been €100+ here for basic enough vintages. Overall we would love to go back!

Dreams Bahia Mita February 2025
We stayed here from February 7- February 14 2025. The hotel, the service, the food, and the amenities all surpassed our expectations. The fitness center is the nicest one Iv seen at dreams/secret property. Shoutout to Lupita at the preferred bar, she can make the best drinks and conversations with her were amazing and Alexander at the preferred check in, he made our experience that much better after hooking up With vip access after finding out I was getting proposed to (my fiancé had informed him without me knowing). The room was a preferred panoramic junior king room with a plunge pool. We stayed in room 2504 and the views of the sunset from the plunge pool every night were amazing. We have rated Bahia Mita the best resort for food options and quality compared the to the last few resort we have stayed at recently. This was our first time in the PV area. We had previously been to Playa del Carmen and Cancún in the past. And we are confident to say we will be returning to PV from now on. From the hotel swim up pools you can see the whales breaching, which is amazing for someone who doesn’t want to get on a boat to see them. (We did go during peek whale season) The food was amazing. The buffet has so many variety to pick from. This was the first time I saw such a selection on fruit, they had the regular expected fruit selection and exotic selections like kiwis, passion fruit, and pomegranates. The tacos for lunch had ample selection and the service was quick and always fresh. My partner said the sushi, on the 6th floor, was the best sushi he’s had on an AI ever. Our favourite al cart restaurant was Bordeaux. The Escargot and scallops are a must try appetizer. We went twice and both times ordered the beef Wellington and the beef bourgignone (switching so we can each try them once) and both times ordered the grand marnier soufflé as dessert. Highly suggest visiting at least once on your stay. The hotel is about a 45 min car ride to the malacom area. Keep this in mind if your like us and like to spend 30-40% of your time exploring. Cabs are about $75 CAD one way oppose to Ubers about $45 CAD. Skip panchos and go straight to pepes tacos. When arriving we were impatient and did not want to take the shuttle in so we crossed the bridge at the airport and took a cab in. This bought us more time on the resort on our first day as Bahia Mita is far out and we would have been the last to be dropped off. When we spoke to other we had seen waiting for the shuttle they didn’t get in until past 8pm to there rooms compared to 4pm when we were in our rooms. In our opinion if you can afford it pay to get in privately or a cab (cabs are cheaper across the bridge) and take the provided shuttle back to the airport on your way home.
