    Beautiful resort, beautiful locations, great staff, excellent food, worth a visit.

    I don't typically leave reviews but figured I would: PROS: - Beautiful locations and views from the rooms - Large rooms and balconies. - Excellent food at the a la cartes - Staff are all very friendly and helpful - No high pressure sales - Only two pools but large lagoon with shallow water - it seemed to serve the amount of people perfectly - Free kayaks snorkels. CONS: - House keeping was hit or miss with towels - some days 2 some days 4 ha. Some days none. Never really knew. - No supper buffet - if that's important to you then choose another resort. A la cartes had very short waits if any and food was EXCELLENT. Short ribs at Sea Side grill was some of the best beef I've ever had - and I am from the prairies in Canada with Grade A Alberta beef. - Nightly entertainment was lacking. OVERALL: Very nice resort, very good location, beautiful, awesome staff. the Pros far outweighed the cons. No place is perfect but this place is met or exceeded most expectations. I do not think you will regret choosing this resort or this location. I would recommend to family and friends.

    Just ok

    I definitely don't recommend reserving a private pool especially if you have a late arrival. You will get the smallest pool with a shared patio. I saw it on here and it happened to us. We wasted most of the next afternoon waiting for a new room to be turned over so we can move rooms. For the most part, the staff was nice and accommodating. The food was so so. We did Preferred Club but probably wouldn't recommend. Compared to other Dreams Resorts that we stayed at, the Preferred Club Lounge was a disaster. The beach was not great and there weren't any available chairs if you didn't get there very early. People seemed to reserve chairs at the pool and the beach at the crack of dawn, leaving nothing available at either spot for others. Place was just ok. We did like the Puerto Adventuras Marina area with restaurants and shopping. Food was great at the restaurant we went to and place had a great vibe. Aside from that, we definitely won't be returning to this resort any time soon. There are much better options out there.

    Great, small, family friendly hotel

    We just got back from a 7 day vacation to Dreams Aventuras. We had a great time. Small resort but perfect for our family with small kids. We also loved being able to go into the marina for something different. We enjoyed World Cafe (buffet) for breakfast everyday, and we ate at Portofino twice and Seaside Grille twice. We liked being at the main pool which was nice and close to the beach. Our girls, ages 4 and 6, loved going to the Explorer's Club. We highly recommend this resort to other families with young children.

    Not a 4 1/2 resort, more like a 3.

    No alcohol in the drinks at the pool bar. Poor service. Beach furniture not as advertised and in poor condition. Draft beer only, not what is expected from a 4 1/2 star resort. Very disappointed in this resort. Our best vacation days were those spent off resort. Could not get a table at the beach fire show dinner as the resort was holding many tables for preferred guests.

    10/10 would recommend

    We had a beautiful stay. Dreams was the perfect destination for my family. The resort is beautiful and has so many options for food and activities. The app keeps you updated with everything you need to know. The beach was beautiful and the sea wall created a relaxing environment. There were even small rock pools over by one of the far bars and the waves would crash in. It was beautiful. Outside the resort was a resort community full of more things to do, restaurants (not part of your all inclusive stay), and a marina where we saw a HUGE spotted ray and dolphins!! I am so pleased and we will definitely be back. *An added bonus Xcaret parks was only 20 minutes away. This was the one excursion we had previously booked so that was convenient and also AWESOME.
