Dreams Macao was a very well organized, fun, safe environment to be in. We had a picture perfect honeymoon!

We stayed in the ocean front swim up suite, and it could not have been a more pretty room! Luis was our butler, and he was very personable, professional, and helped us with anything that he had the capabilities of doing. He is a stand up guy! We will be back!

    Nice family vacation

The people are what make this resort . Everyone from the lawn people to the servers, butlers etc said hola . Never saw anyone being rude or not happy. The grounds are very well maintained and are beautiful . Beach was clean and they constantly came around to get cups and dirty towels . Katherine and Moses at the adult pool were always putting out towels , getting drinks and making sure you were taken care of. Our butler Miguel always had a smile on his face and would try and do what you asked . He was very attentive. I was surprised though they don’t save chairs for the preferred guests. It was also hard to get into the hibachi restaurant . Pools- there is a pool for everyone . Quiet ones, loud and activity ones and adult ones . Drinks-everything including the coke seemed watered down. I asked for a Shirley temple for my teen son and he said it tasted like pink water and it did . Unless I drank soda from a bottle it just wasn’t American sweet I guess. The only bar in my opinion that had good drinks was the lobby bar or the drinks in the restaurants . Restaurants - this is my issue . Food was fine for all inclusive. Plenty of choices. Food truck was very good for tacos and lunch , we had a hard time getting into hibachi but there is only 3 tables and 11 at each . They have 3 times available and it is by reservation. We got there Sunday and it was the first thing I asked . We got in on Thursday the day before we left. It was fine . Lots of food . There was a restaurant closed every night. One of my only issues is this is spring break . There was 1200 people on this resort. No restaurant should be closed with this many people . Several didn’t want to wait in line like we did for a hour and went to buffet. I don’t want to do a buffet every night so not happy with that scenario. We ate everywhere except oceana and Mexican . Mexican was closed when we wanted to go. No lobster on menu . Must be out of season this time of year . Towels and seats - there were plenty of towels at all times of day . We found chairs all different times of Days for beach and pools . The main pool will always be packed so be prepared for that if you want to be there. We did the dolphin excursion dolphin explorer and it was fun . Very expensive photos . 300 for all . 15 for bird pictured and 30 a picture for everything else . We would have bought more than two had they been so expensive . Overall we had a great time . It is what you make of it. We had 7 people . 4 people had diahhera the last day. Maybe the water . We were very careful and didn’t drink anything but bottle water. I know it wasn’t food poisoning because it didn’t hit us right after a meal . We were fine for 5 days before that. My kids ate anything and everything . It is a different country , different spices, different food. We also had preferred. It wasn’t necessary for extra treats , and butler. You would be fine without it. It didn’t add to our trip or make or break the trip . If we didn’t want to try other places we would go back .

    My special day.

If you are thinking about having your wedding at this resort, do it! Don’t second guess it, just do it. You won’t regret it. They offer a lot. The people are so nice. My family and I felt very safe. The bridal suite inside of the spa was beautiful. I can’t wait to go back!

    Great family vacay destination

We had a great time at Dreams Macao Beach! The hotel was very nice, clean and very well taken care of. We took our 9 and 11 year old sons and were blown away at how family friendly the resort was. There were things to do everywhere you looked and so much entertainment put on by the staff. They were both able to play in the waves, they are pretty big and it is a little rough but nothing I felt uncomfortable with and they thought it was awesome. It was the first time we have taken our family to do something like this and the resort was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for, we will recommend to all families as a great destination.

    An action packed family vacation

Something for everyone on this family vacation with 4 children ages 6-11 and three adults : Kiddie pool , large pool , slide park , zip line , tennis , basketball , beach were all part of the fun . The beach had a big surf so lots of fun in the waves for swimmers . Lifeguards were always monitoring because of wave size , rocks and undertow with a red flag flying all week . The resort is small enough that all facilities are an easy walk ( no need for trolleys ) Dining options were excellent and no need to make reservations on day 1 . We actually liked the buffet best . Staff are wonderful . We rated this vacation 10/10 and will be returning .
