  Great drink service

  We really enjoyed our trip. The hotel could use a few more food options, especially since the hotel is in the hills and not especially close to other food- but the food available was great and service in general was lovely. I had fantastic margaritas courtesy of Regino. 10/10 drink service! The spa service could use a bit of direction- there’s a bit or room for improvement- but everyone was very polite and eager to please. I think generally on vacation with kids we need things to open a bit earlier than they did- 8 for the breakfast buffet is late when everyone is up at 6. There’s an all day pantry which is nice but if you want other food you have to wait until 11. Otherwise we loved our vacation and would return!

  Not the worse not the best

  Not the best not the worse… here’s what you need to know: Serious lack of food option - true especially for hotel Mexico by the sea limited seafood option Lots of walking required UPHILL in humid weather not ideal Lots of pools but the water is lukewarm at all times so do not expect to be refreshed at anytime TONS of families and baby Mooners Massages are $150+ and not exactly worth it fully, lack of amenities The staff however if freaken amazing! Especially: Victor at media luna Fabiola at the spa The young gentleman who runs the pantry Mauricio I think is his name. He was the nicest person here. I am traveling with a 6 month old and used the pantry to disinfect bottles and pump parts every night. After the second night he would bring out different item that made the process so much easier and to say it was appreciated is an understatement. Best drinks from the bartender in the lobby (can’t remember his name but had tattoos on his face) extremely great at his profession. And last but not least eduardo at the beach club! He put up with our party of 12!! Never annoyed always gracious and simply amazing with the kids and their thousand orders. Side note and not a big deal but it would be great to hear Spanish music around the property rather than American.

  Spa was excellent!!

  Had a great experience with the couples massage (love ritual) at the spa. Several people to thank for the great treatment received by my wife and I. Big thanks to Rosalinda, Fabiola, and Yazmin for getting us checked in and where we needed to go. Maritza and Annalleli gave wonderful massages leaving us full relaxed. Xochitl got me situated in the men’s locker side. After a great massage, we had champagne and chocolate strawberries waiting for us an a nice warm bath. After that we lounged by the spa pool and just totally relaxed.

  Amazing Entertainment Team – Fun for Kids, Relaxation for Parents!

  We had such a wonderful time thanks to the amazing entertainment team — especially Alfredo, Nancy, and the rest of the crew! They organized fantastic activities that our kids absolutely loved. From dancing with the “big brothers and sisters” to doing fun crafts, our children were smiling the whole time. As parents, it was a huge relief to see our kids having fun in such a safe and joyful environment — it gave us a rare chance to relax and recharge. We truly appreciate the warmth, energy, and creativity the team brought every day. Thank you so much for making our stay extra special!

  Not relaxing and serious lack of food options.

  Obviously other reviewers haven’t travelled anywhere or are huge Marriott fans. I don’t get it. I’ve been around the world and stayed at many all inclusives, check my profile, this was one of my least favourites. Do not go just as a couple, it’s basically only for families with young children. Zero entertainment other than kids movies. Parents, mostly American, drunk off their faces while kids go wild. No parenting, kids running everywhere, screaming and doing whatever they want. Very minimal dinner choices, only Japanese ONCE per stay so the rest of the time it’s buffet dinner. Japanese was okay but buffet wasn’t good at all, slightly different each night but food was boring and flavourless, also wayyyy less options than most hotels. I have my Mexican residency, how on earth do you make Mexican food flavourless and boring? The lunch food was good at the pool, beach club and food truck. Beach isn’t nice, sticky dark sand and muddy water, not clear at all. Didn’t bother going in. Waiter service was not great at the pool or beach, basically they only come around once per hour, we timed it, they stand around talking to each other the rest of the time. Had to go get our own drinks most of the time. Mini bar does NOT get restocked with alcohol, I thought you could get it from the pantry they advertise but you cannot. You get 2 beers for your room per trip. Awful. Be prepared to WALK uphill. Carts come by once in awhile but we had to walk most of the time. No adults only area at all. Kids everywhere. It is not quiet or peaceful by any means, not relaxing at all as your cramped with everyone else. Good luck finding chairs away from others, you’re stacked together because while there are a lot of pools, they are tiny and crammed together. Pick somewhere else, better options out there.
