Stay
My mom and I had a great stay. We came to visit family. We enjoyed the luau. Staff were excellent. They were very friendly, polite and helpful when asking for help. I will stay again. I give hotel a Five star review. Aloha and mahalo. I also enjoyed the food. I glad that they offer to mail postcards.

Great location. Nice hotel. Eat somewhere else.
A good hotel with an excellent location. The ocean view rooms are well-worth the extra cost. The room was very comfortable. That said, there are a couple issues worth noting: The dining services are not great. The poolside bar is OK, but the "main dining room" is rarely open for dinner and then only for overpriced buffets. Fortunately there are many much better restaurants just steps/blocks away. Also, the employees were not real helpful and seemed mighty overworked. All in all, though, a quality experience.

Nice location, beach front, and all around good hotel, certainly not a luxury resort
If you are looking for a romantic resort getaway, proposal location or luxury, this is not the place, if you want decent accommodations, great location, it certainly meets this criteria. Great for families and a good base if travelling out and about around the island, but not a luxury resort. Pool was good size, small hot tub, but perfect, clean, little cove beach for swimming and plenty of fish to see while snorkeling.(free snorkels, beach chairs and umbrellas for hotel guests). The hotel needs some updates and maintenance, and they were working on it, since it was off season, but needs room furnishing updates, the shower head is about 48”H and way too short for a standard adult. Beds were comfy, and a balcony with good views. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive with an omelet station, waffles, fresh fruits, cereals, potatoes, bacon and acai, plus so much more. There was only 1 restaurant on property serving lunch & dinner, but so many others within walking distance. It is not a Ritz, or Four Seasons resort but better than a Hampton Inn/Holiday Inn. If you expect better than average, it will meet your needs. I would definitely stay here again, as it's a great base for travelling around the island

No POWER ??? 😡😡😡😡
The Location is fantastic , The Pool and Beach are Great, The rooms are good , Now the negatives , 1: The poolside bar is closed and under repair , we were here for 5 days and not on minute of repair work was done while we were here , Not enough pool side loungers ( It’s like a bad all inclusive with people lining up at 08:00 to hold their chairs for the whole day 😡, There is three poolside cabanas that were empty for every day but took up potential lounge chair space along the one side of the pool DRINK PRICES $$$, A small 12 ounce draft beer is $12.00, Mixed drinks start around $13.00. TIP, Buy your one courtesy pool side drink and bring a bag with drinks from your room or the ABC store that is connected to the Hotel and save huge $ The Pool side service is also pretty slow but this is because the Poolside bar is closed and they have to go in the restaurant to pick up their orders so not really the servers fault 2: This is why I went out of my way to write a review and not personally chew out the Hotel Manager Upon coming back to our room we found a note saying that they had to do a “Mandatory” electrical systems check between Midnight and 2:00am WHAT ? , Lots of other senior people in the hotel that I’m sure also rely on a CPAP or for me a BI-PAP machine because I have very bad sleep apnea If it’s Mandatory why not do it from Noon to 2:00pm when most guests have checked out or probably are by the pool , When everyone is in their rooms is when you cut off power Also if it were mandatory why not do it in the lowest part of the season. I also called front desk at 11:00pm telling them not to cut off power to my room because of a health condition and was told that mechanical people would take care of this , but as no surprise the power went off from about 12:14am to 2:40am I wouldn’t let this hotel manager organize anything bigger than a 3 car parade. Embarrassing stupidity 😡
