A well rounded trip!
Rooms were spacious and clean. We were able to upgrade to Privilege, and we weren’t disappointed! The Spa was lovely. One of the best full body massages I’ve ever had. They even used aloe on my sunburnt back! It’s really helped. Loved the paths from the lobby to the beach. It’s like a safe walk through a mini jungle. I plan to return!

Honest review
We were here 10 years ago and we loved it. So we decided to come back. Everything is pretty much the same. Staff 5/5 , super friendly and professional Food 5/5, lot's of choice in buffet. Restaurants 5/5, reserve on the first day through the website. (See below) Entertainment 5/5 Rooms (we opted for the refurbished ones) 5/5. Downside (nothing bad here). 10 years ago they didn't have the "exclusive"class. All the resorts are found it so I guess they went with the flow. They will call you in your room to offer you a gift from the hotel and to push the exclusive program on you. We are seasoned travelers so we told them we weren't interested. The exclusive program gives you access to high shelf alcohol, menus at the restaurants and better seating (better view). In my opinion you can do without all of this (my opinion doesn't make me right). Overall we had a wonderful time, amazing food and very courteous staff that makes you want to come back to this unforgettable place. If you need help for the reservations though the website ask the front desk to do them for you Last thing the mattress we had needed to be changed. Highly recommend. Awesome week all together.

Entertainment was top tier!
The entertainment staff was INCREDIBLE - they’re so dedicated to their jobs and are genuinely kind people. Charlie, Diego, Tita, and Paulina checked in on us everyday to see how we were doing and I swear they work around the clock. And the Rauxa was also a great show!

Incredible
This place is absolutely incredible. I took my husband here for his 50th birthday in March 2025 and I don’t have a single bad thing to say. We had the privileged package which gave us access to a beautiful beach area and beloved restaurant. Marcos treated us like family every day. The sweet morning hostess (never caught her name) remembered our coffee orders and favourite spot. Charlie & the entertainment team is amazing. Super friendly, great to chat with! The rooms were perfect, absolutely loved the walk from the pool to the rooms. The jungle feeling is exactly what we were looking for. We would absolutely return again and stay at other locations. Thank you!

Lovely resort but a little too small
Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful resort and we had a wonderful time I would not give this 5 star as there too many areas that I would want to see improved but the pool and beach are defo 5 star in their own right! So here is our review . . . Positives A really wonderful resort on a beautiful beach, great pool and lovely grounds. Probably the nicest beach we have ever seen - pure white sand and turquoise water 1 hour from Cancun airport =- easy journey Very easy check in great wifi easy to book restaurants and check evening entertainment lovely room and shower All staff are helpful, friendly and engaging Food is pretty good and you wont go hungry - sorrento was a defo fav! bars are good and always easy to get a drink Rauxo show was excellent - did this twice and would have done again if i could have booked in Mama Mia Italian restaurant lovely cons it was a little windy the first week we were there - and there is literally nothing to do if the weather is bad - which we found out pretty quickly! This is the reason i would not return - after about 4 days of being bashed around by the wind - it was difficult to stay positive as nowhere to hang out and chill - no outdoor terrace or sports bar. Because of this lack of options - after 2 weeks the place started to get a little claustrophobic and i was glad to leave and head home. I think it is more suited to a 5/7 day holiday. 14 days was just too long in the same space with the same faces. needs a coffee shop - the coffee service at the lobby is fine but really needs something a little more extensive Entertainment was a little annoying after a while - we loved sitting by the pool but the music was way too loud from about 3pm and entertainment mainly involved making the holiday makers look as stupid as possible - which many people do enjoy - but not really our thing so we spent most of the 2 weeks avoiding any engagement with the entertainment team as they were a little bit hyper. Was a weird vibe - lots of retired folk mixed with very loud youngsters doing beer drinking games listening to loud music! Food was good but would have preferred an evening buffet rather than always have to book a la carte. Prefer not be committed to a time every night when on holiday Snorkelling was great on the 2 days we could do it - but generally the water is not still enough to enjoy. if it is still - turn right at the beach and head out by the massage tent Room was lovely but i will never EVER book a room with the balcony in the jungle again - was interesting but very oppressive after 2 weeks! i longed for sun on the balcony and a view - big mistake! i really should have clocked that a jungle balcony would not be a positive - no sun, damp, nothing dries and no view! cleaning was ok the first few days but he seemed to get a little bored a few days in - minibar was sporadic, coffee was never replenished after day 3, towels sometimes changed but not always etc Beach towels were a challenge! that was the most random beach towel set up ever! apparently you need to leave them in your room and then get changed in the evening - this was a 50/50 event! i learnt that at 10am some towels (about 20) are put by the pool so in the end just relied on this system as the other system was flawed photographers EVERYWHERE! asking for pics . that was annoying So although that sounds a little negative, these were all minor irritations that added up to a four star rating - it really is a very beautiful resort and i would highly recommend for a 7 day stay or long weekend if American / Canadian If doing long haul from UK i would recommend maybe changing resorts halfway to avoid the repetiitveness OR book lots of tours we wont return but we very glad we went :)
