Honest review of frequent traveler
Real honest review of someone who travels frequently to the Caribbeans. I really honestly do not understand why so many people rave about the Breezes and gives such great reviews. Although the hotel is very well located on the beach and has a great section of that beach, positive notes pretty much ends there. I was aware of the dated decor, which I truly don't mind. The hotel is clean overall. The decor not being a problem, it is the convenience and the comfort that lacks. There was a lot of construction on site while we were there, which we can understand, however they probably could have hidden it a little better. Rooms are clean, but none have balcony or mini-fridge: so no daily fresh water: bring your own bottle. we had an AC problem (classic!) and were upgraded to a bigger room that had a fridge. The picture is a testament of the state of said fridge: full of black mold. During the day, there is only the pool Bar opened. So nothing available in the lobby. That bar also caters to the buffet. Please note EVERYTHING is served in disposable plastic cups. Coffee, drinks, water, etc. The amount of garbage is insane. Talking about the buffet. Variety is bad. Like extremely bad. If you think Cuba lacks food, you have not been to the Breezes: photo above shows the ONLY 8 available menu items at every meal (adding to the salad buffet). Usually, 1 side being local (1 meat and sides) and the other American Fried food and sides. Lunch is okay since you have the beach grill where you can get great Conch fritters and burgers and hotdogs, but I did not book a trip to Nassau to feed on hotdogs. I was expecting better variety. For example: boiled bananas and beef liver for breakfast... Also, you can't get ''real'' coffee anywhere. My first in all my travels, even 3 stars hotels have a bar where you can get a good coffee in the morning. They only have Nescafe at the buffet. At night, there is the ''lobby'' which is round chairs and tables. The bar opens around 18h30 and there usually a band playing. Pretty much empty lobby every night. Lighting is probably a reason: heavy lights. So if you consider that this is not a cheap destination and you expect to be spoiled, Breezes is not your spot. Yes it is clean, yes it is all inclusive which is rare in Nassau, but to my opinion, you can get much better for your money elsewhere. Even locals, when we mentioned we were staying at the Breezes were rolling their eyes: it is a joke! Also, please remove SPA from your name. There is NO SPA

Week at Breezes resort
Our stay at the hotel was very enjoyable, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Food and drink was OK, like most all inclusives. Lunch at the poolside grill was great. The Breeze's house band was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment.

Amazing first trip to the Bahamas and Breezes!
Amazing first trip to the Bahamas and Breezes All Inclusive Beach Front Resort! Ignore the negative reviews and go, you wont be disappointed! Yes, it's an older, smaller resort but very clean and comfortable with awesome ocean views. The staff is very attentive, friendly and welcoming. You won't get the same level of personal attention at the larger, newer resorts as you do here! A very special Thank You to the following who kept our large group (16) entertained and made our stay that much more enjoyable and memorable. "G" - Best Butler around hands down! Entertainment Crew - Donovan, Shakeyra, Audreka, D'von, Reno Funky D & Summer Breeze Band
