  Unforgettable Service — Especially from Edwin @ Energy Pool!

  We just got back from an incredible stay at Breathless Riviera Cancun, and while the resort itself was great, what truly made our trip unforgettable was the amazing staff — especially Edwin at the Energy Pool. We’ve stayed at several all-inclusives over the years, and while some may have had better beaches or more luxurious amenities, none have come close to the level of service we received here — and Edwin is a huge reason we’d come back. From the moment we met him, he made us feel like VIPs. Always attentive, friendly, upbeat, and just genuinely caring. He knew what we needed before we did, and never missed a beat. His presence completely elevated our pool days, and his brother (who worked with him) was also awesome — a fantastic duo. A few other staff who really stood out: Sonia @ the Party Pool – not only kept the energy going, but also gave us Spanish lessons and helped make the vibe even more fun. Gabriella @ After Dark – sweet and welcoming every night, always made us feel at home. Pedro @ Strip Grill – dinner at the steakhouse was delicious, and Pedro had us laughing the entire time. Great personality and great service. Enrique @ Silk City – super accommodating, especially with our group of seven. Made sure everything ran smoothly and everyone felt taken care of. Ivan @ E-Staff – constantly checking in and keeping things running like clockwork. The food at the dinner restaurants was phenomenal — the French and Italian spots were so good, we went to each of them twice. Poolside service was quick, the music was always going, and even when we had a minor issue in our room, maintenance responded fast and took care of it without any hassle. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to give the Party Pool more space — it had the best energy, but it was a bit small for the size of the crowd it attracted. All that said, it’s the people who make a resort feel special, and Edwin is a big reason why we’re already talking about coming back. If you’re lucky enough to spend your days at the Energy Pool with him, you’re in for a fantastic vacation.

  Lots of fun and relaxing! Great place and amazing staff.

  Went on a girls trip and we had the best time! Food was great, rooms very nice and it was a fun place with great people. We joined in and the entertainment staff was all great, but Ivan was our favorite. He was the best, made our trip a lot of fun. We did water aerobics with him and saw him at the themed dinners, dancing and at the club and he was a lot of fun! Thank you Ivan for making this a memorable trip and entertaining us. Edy at the excursion desk was also so knowledgeable and kind. We loved our trip to XCARET that he booked for us and all his recommendations were great.

  They could do better.

  Beach is SAD. Pretty much a bed of seaweed. Entertainment team is a bunch of college amateurs, but they try. Bartenders have no idea how to mix drinks, they just start pouring alcohol into a class. I didn’t get a correctly made mixed drink all week, ended up drinking canned sodas. Buffet is nice, speciality dining is a bit over rated. Avoid the offer of the free shuttle to playa del Carmen’s or Cancun, it’s a sales gimmick, they take you to a jewelry and tequila store for an alleged 1 hour stop that is actually 2.5 hours. Lastly, the resort is remote which is wonderful unless you expect connectivity. The WiFi is far too limited and weak to support the volume of people trying to use it. Only time it worked “okay” was in the middle of the night and there were dozens of different places on the resort where it didn’t work at all.

  Take me back

  One of the best all inclusive adults resort that I’ve stayed at. We had an excel suite, which have access to exclusive pool area, bar and dinner options. Worth every dollar. Just wished that the top shelf liquor was also accessible at the foam pool. With that being said, Allan, Alfredo, Edwin, Polo and Juan Carlos made sure that even if we were on foam side they still helped us access the excel pool menu and liquor. Those men worked their butts off with a group of 30! Thanks guys!!!! After all the drinking and partying. Time for dinner, this is the reason they didn’t get 5 stars. The food did not disappoint! The problem was they didn’t have a reservation system, so our first night we waited almost an hour and half To be seated. The next we had issues with sitting at the steak house. The only restaurant we didn’t have an issue was at the habachi, because they were the only ones that took reservations. Again food was sooooooo yummy! Public bathroom were always clean, even stocked with facial tissues. My favorite baristas Rosalinda and Anahi made sure our little lattes were always consistent lots of treats here too. Total party environment. The young, the parents getting away, the empty nesters, the grandparents. We all partied and had a blast. There also a club, that’s decent. Would definitely hire the Saturday foam DJ for the club as well. Thanks breathless, we’ll be back!

  Great resort! Felix was incredible!

  Great hotel, amenities, restaurants, pools, beach, spa and entertainment! Felix in concierge was amazing! During my trip my mobile phone got wet and stopped working. This was very worrisome as my phone has all of my necessary information on it, including my trip information, contacts and plane tickets. Being without my phone in another country was very scary! Felix went way above and beyond to help me with getting a new mobile phone so I could contact my family and access my plane ticket, etc. His customer service during my trip was next level! He got me a taxi to and from the mall, translated for me and helped me purchase a new phone. Felix is very kind, helpful and an amazing person! I can’t thank him enough!
