  Highly Recommend this Gem

  The resort itself is stunning. Our room was spacious and had all the modern amenities. The resort was clean and well maintained. We also took advantage of the spa services which were heavenly. Food was great as well. Overall, exceeded my expectations.

  Great time! Planning to return already!

  Girls trip from 2/27/2025 to 3/3/2025 We had an excellent time. Breathless is clean, food is excellent compared to other resorts I have stayed at. The entertainment crew are so fun and engage everyone. (David, Fabio, Mel, Carlos were so good visiting with us and making sure we were having fun). Rafael at Spumante helped us cure any side effects from our fun the previous day he goes out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Robinson insured our drinks were always full. Kenya, Andrea, Alaina were also exceptional. We had a blast and it seemed from everyone we spoke to also had a fabulous time. I am already planning my next visit!

  Great stay Christian is awesome

  The good - This is a great an all inclusive resort with gorgeous rooms. The bed was super comfortable. Christian was fantastic who delivered room service. Service really goes out of their way to ensure you have a positive experience. The fruit is delicious. Room service was lightening fast. The views are breathtaking. The bad It’s a smaller beach area. The food left a lot to be desired. I wasn’t expecting canned chicken on my fettuccine alfredo especially when they asked for us to dress elegant. The food seemed to be overcompensating with salt instead and I had to actually ask them to tone down the salt for my food. The light omelette once they did that was delicious. I did not have a bathrobe in the room. I did not have a do not disturb for the room. I was working and was often interrupted because of this. My colleague asked if I preferred cruising to this because I usually cruise and I have to say the service is top notch but the food was underwhelming. Perhaps other pallets would not mind but I suppose my tastes are different. I never like the idea of a hotel insisting and outright taking my bag - ask me first. They insisted it would be delivered to my room and I refused. He kept trying to take my bag and I had to get forceful stating my bags stay with me. I was coming from an area where it was cold and wanted to change immediately. I did not like that everyone at the front desk seemed to have very specific tasks. It didn’t feel like one person could help if there was an issue. I would still recommend this place and come back just sharing the negatives for consideration. Taking one star off for the salty bland food. Watered down drinks. I’m a light weight and the pina coladas were more of a slushy with an essence of rum.

  Will not be back!

  WILL NOT BE BACK!!! This resort might look impressive, but don’t be fooled by the pretty exterior. The staff was friendly, but the management was clueless, and the whole experience was a mess. I usually don’t bother with bad reviews unless it’s really deserved, but people need to know what they’re getting into here. Check-In Trainwreck: We arrived on December 12th for a three-day stay, thinking it would be a smooth start since we upgraded to the premium package. We were wrong. The resort wasn’t even busy, but somehow our room wasn’t ready until 5 PM. How do you not have rooms ready at a half-empty hotel? Pool Problems: While waiting for our room, we went to the pool to try to relax. That didn’t happen. First of all, the drinks were terrible — way too sweet and barely drinkable. When I asked for a floater on my frozen drink to cut the sweetness, I was told they couldn’t do it because “policy doesn’t allow for shots.” I wasn’t asking for a round of tequila shots, just a little something to make the drink tolerable. How is this even a rule at an adults-only resort in Mexico? It was ridiculous. The chairs were scattered all over with no organization, and there were barely any staff around to help. Also, the “party pool” that was supposed to have entertainment was completely empty the entire time we were there. No music, no activities, just a dead, windy pool area with not a single thing happening. The whole setup felt like false advertising. Beach, what Beach? Just awful!! Upgraded Package Was a Joke: We paid extra for the upgraded package, expecting decent service and better drinks. Instead, we ended up spending more time standing in line than actually enjoying anything. The only place to get the premium alcohol we paid for was a tiny bar by reception. To get a drink, you had to leave the pool, take an elevator, and wait in line for 25 minutes because there was just one bartender. And if you wanted a glass of prosecco at the pool, they handed you a paid menu — at an all-inclusive resort. It felt like they were just looking for ways to squeeze more money out of us. Dining Disaster: Their website makes a big deal about having 9 or 10 restaurants, but only TWO were open for dinner. If the resort was too empty to open more restaurants, then why did it take over 2.5 hours to get a table? It makes no sense. When we finally got seated, the service was a joke — they brought out the appetizer, main course, and dessert all at once. We felt like we were being rushed out the door. Check-Out Frustration: By the next morning, we’d had enough. We checked out early and left a written explanation of why we were leaving. A month later, we got credit for only one night and were charged a penalty for the rest. When we called to try to sort it out, they basically told us, “too bad, that’s our policy.” No apology, no effort to make it right. Bottom Line: The drinks are awful, the service is a mess, and the upgraded package is a scam. There are way better options in Cancun — I’d suggest avoiding this place entirely.

  Nice looking, TERRIBLE experience - would not book again.

  SUMMARY - nice looking place but extremely bad services and generally badly managed - would NOT stay again. Arrived Dec 12th for a planned 3 day stay. The place itself is nice looking, very modern, and we had upgraded to the premium package so we were generally excited. Soon went downhill. I'll say that the staff themselves were good - friendly and polite. The issue here was the management policies and execution which makes the place so very bad. First of all it took an age to check into the room. I get we arrived early but the place was pretty empty and our room was somehow not ready until 5pm, I think because they did not have enough cleaning staff maybe? So while waiting for our room we went to the pool. Lovely area, but oh dear again, just badly organized and managed. No-one up there really, chairs badly placed, and when we asked for a couple of shots to try and at least relax from what was not looking good - they refused. NOTE - it's a management policy that they will NOT serve you straight shots! So very weird - we're like 60, not college kids, and we're in Mexico. So that's strike 2. Then later on that evening, we wanted to try the upgraded premium alcohol. Fail again - you can only get the upgraded alcohol in the little side bar whichh doubles as a check in. SO there was a big line there, and took ages and you couldn't just get the upgraded alcohol you actually paid for. Final straw was the restaurants. They say on the website they have lots of them (maybe 9 or 10?) between the bars, the cafes, the different styles etc. But only TWO were open for dinner. So we traipsed around, put our names down on both, and 2.5 hours later, hungry and in a bad mood, we managed to eat. At which point the waiter was ready to go home and brought starter, main, and dessert all at once. It was comical. Next morning we went to reception, checked out, left a written statement why we were checking out, and left for another hotel. A month or so later we received ONE nights credit, even though we were booked for 3 and checked out at 9am, they charged us a penalty of one night. Hence this miffed review, which I'm posting after we called back and confirmed that endless waits, bad drinks, and non-existent food are par for the course at this place. AVOID this place, there are so many other good ones.
