if you want a buffet experience every night book here , very few reservations available at other restaurants', entertainment was lacking only perform for 45 minutes, not quality entertainment compared to other Jamaican resorts. Some staff rude and very unhelpful.

Horrible experience as far as dining, it is almost impossible to get a reservation, which was very misleading. The quality of the food is so so and my feeling is they just want you to eat in the buffet and that is not what we paid for. The best thing is the employees they are exceptional. Our housekeeper Karena was the best, and the wait staff everywhere were amazing, they couldn't do enough for you. Sadly we felt like just a number, we were celebrating our 56th anniversary which they acknowledged but we were also celebrating my hubby's birthday which was never mentioned except at check in. Our room was nice but very worn, the chairs had stains on them and the one sink was so slow draining, along with the trim on the shower door needed to be messed with every time we used it. As for the ocean front balcony, it was very nice we had a corner room with a large wrap around balcony. We were never told of any shows to go to except the one we had to pay extra for to see. The music was not great, they need to find some groups that can keep the beat, half the time they were so out of sync. Plus we were hoping to hear a lot of Jamaican music but we heard something that the guys were attempting but didn't do well at all. All and all I would suggest you save your money and go somewhere else, as we have decided we will never return to there or are willing to try one of their other establishments as we feel they will all be the same.

My stay at luxury bahia was awesome .. checkin was fast and efficient we got good information going to our room … the entertaining is 10/10. We also met this nice girl from the Privilege Club Janice Phillips who introduced us to take a presentation best believe it is way cheaper and better than going through the travel agents she is professional and the person who she took us to do the presentation Amoy is so lovely as well … we joined the club and don’t regret it … We stayed in room 25711 Beautiful room

Pros * Service incredibly friendly from virtually everyone working anywhere * Drinks well made * Buffet very good * Whole facility extremely clean * Lots of covered chairs * Wrist band for room access so no need to carry room card/key. * Excellent gym * Shuttle service to and from airport seemless Neg * Room worn…needs a major refresh. * The special Jamaican show is additional charge and they charge extra for non-Red Stripe beer * Reservations must be done a week in advance or nothing available. Luckily we knew this. But no restaurant we booked was remotely full, yet other people couldn’t book. Many nights some were closed. Worse, the a la carte restaurants were not great except Takara. Buffet was generally better. * During the day, some pool bars were closed * Our bathroom ceiling had a leak that must have been obvious to cleaning staff but ignored which then worsened next day into a flow of water forcing a room change * Really close to the main road so traffic noise was VERY loud at all hours * Can only get one beach towel at a time.

Roaches in my room
I am a member of the privileged club. Our assigned room was great but there were roaches in the room (I have pictures). We called and they assigned us a tiny room with the paint peeling from the ceiling. We complained to the concierge the following day and he told us that they would change the room. We waited all day, then he got back to us 6 hours later saying that they couldn’t change the room. I called the toll free number and the lady that I spoke with was very unhelpful. I had made up my mind to leave but my husband wanted to wait. I will never visit this hotel again. In addition the room was not cleaned properly. There were blond hairs on the floor( my hair is black and my husband is bald) plus there was peeling paint that fell from the ceiling on the table.
