Bed bugs
Listen to the reviews. Don’t be like me who thought people were just complaining to complain. I am very low maintenance with low expectations especially of the food in Dominican. Rooms We got here late and immediately upon entering our room we saw all the bedding stained with blood. My sister in another room had the same issue. Pillows, blankets, sheets all of it. I’ll attach one image as an example. It was late and my kids were tired so we just slept on top of everything with the spare blankets. The next morning my nephew and sister woke up with bed bug bites. We complained the manager said he’ll get us new rooms cleaned really well, an upgraded category. They were the exact same rooms on the same floor. Yes cleaned better but still had stained bedding. We decided to stay in our original room since we already survived one night without be bug bites and figured our room didn’t have them. Well it did, we had bites and took precautions when we got home and still brought them home and had to pay to get our home fumigated. Something this hotel desperately needs to do!! There weee also cockroaches in the room. The mattresses and pillows are not comfortable at all. The bathroom and AC are fine. I really wish being a family resort there were more cartoons on the tv or atleast one English cartoon. Our balcony door doesn’t lock. Buffet This is another big one for me, as mentioned I am not picky. This is the smallest buffet I have ever seen! And I have been to atleast 6 different hotels in different countries on vacations. It’s sooo busy and it’s sooo small. There is a lack of food here there’s only 3 places to eat at during the day. There’s a small buffet. An even smaller food buffet on the beach. A pizzeria that one man is making in the water park and the line is about 40 minutes. Thank god there was this little fruit stand beside the pizzeria otherwise there wasn’t anything to eat during off hours of the Buffett Snack bar and room service for night time and the food is inedible. The first night we got there I ordered nachos, chicken nuggets and fries, a club sandwhich, a hot dog. It was all so bad. We were all still hungry afterward as everything was so so bad. Staff You’ve seen that no one speaks English and it’s true. If it wasn’t for my sister who knows a lot we would be screwed. At every resort there are people who don’t speak a lot or good English, but they speak enough to answer your basic questions . This resort, English is non existent. And makes the vacation not as enjoyable because you can’t ask any questions about where to do what, where to eat etc. It’s very disorganized because the compound is so big so there are nightly events listed on your entertainment board, but are happening at the hotel beside you and because nobody speaks English. You can’t clarify where exactly something is. We spent a couple nights kind of going back-and-forth looking for the night show the night shows in the theatre are very basic non-impressive. I was very disappointed because I had read a review that there was like a lion King show and another show of Disney princessesand there was nothing like that. It was a circus show a pirate show a magic show just really mediocre not that interesting to little kids type of shows. My oldest cut his head open on the water slide had to go to the hospital and get him 4 stitches. We cockroaches climbing the walls in the buffet and in our room Stay away, far away!

Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff.Lovely pool area and beach, great christmas feel x
Where do i start. From the moment we arrived until the minute we left the staff were so friendly and attentive. Always had a smile on their face, saying hello or a high five. The hotel was.clean, maybe a little.tired in parts but nothing that i would make me feel like a need to put a negative comment. In particular i would like to mention Melvin, Luis,Gilbert and Joaquin who treated us like life long friends and looked after us in the Lobby bar. Also around the pool during the day Teresa Dalcia and Darianny were 10/10. Pool was spotless, gardern areas well kept, rooms spacious and clean.Good choice of food both in buffet and a la cartes. Also a big thankyou to Hugo" the boss" for always taking time to talk to us and a apecial mention to Edourd in the.main buffet restaurant who welcomed us every morning with a big smile and looked after us so well. We will definately be back to this hotel, went as a couple and loved every minute. Well done x Definatley recommend Saona Island boat trip 10/10

Best vacation ever!
The best family vacation I’ve ever had so far, we went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and the hotel really made her feel like a real princess. The food was amazing, the room was very clean and the personnel was very friendly. The entertainment team was really nice and so much fun, my kids had a blast!!!!! Thank you 😊

Great place!
Had a great vacation here! Staff were friendly! Food was great! The hotel was clean and tidied. Great room service and other great services. Great shows and the bar was good. Thanks to the waiter, Lucas made our restaurant experience great. Whole restaurant staff was good and including other good staff. Just pack your mosquito and bug sprays because the mosquitos decided to make this their little home. Otherwise, would definitely recommend this resort and no complaints!

Maggot-infested food!
On our second day, we discovered that the buffet food had maggots. Needless to say, we were alarmed and raised this with the staff. They did nothing to help us and made us chase them down every day of our vacation to learn what could be done. I was embarrassed that we had brought another family with us and that this was our experience. We took time away from our vacation with our kids to try and handle the situation. They played shady games and tried to get us to sign away any rights. Beware!
