Jan 24, 2026Lost Personal Property Under Valet – Very Disappointing
I am very disappointed with Andaz Wailea. My eyeglasses ($350), which held personal sentimental value from our Hawaii trip, went missing while under valet custody. The hotel refused to take responsibility, prioritizing staff over guest property. For a luxury resort, this handling is unacceptable. Police report filed.

Jan 23, 2026Disappointing staff and check-in
Very disappointed in the check-in process. We requested our rooms be near each other six months before our trip. They were nowhere near each other. They ended us moving our room after a day, but staff was not very pleasant about it. They deleted our Hyatt number and had trouble putting it back on. After having two rooms for a week each, they said if we wanted an extra hour for late check out it was going to cost $250. Front staff was not accommodating.

Jan 23, 2026This is an oustanding resort with excellent service and facilities.
Andaz is exceptional. The resort is top notch, the service and attention to detail is outstanding and the food in Ka'ana Kitchen is excellent. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly, extremely attentive and very helpful when we needed them. All of the facilities (our room, pool area, lobby, restaurants, etc.) were spotless.

Amazing 20 Year anniversary Celebration
20 Year anniversary trip was amazing right up to the very end. The only place they fell short was never coming to get the bags on our checkout and we had a very early flight. After calling and they still never came we pulled our bags up the hill and left. Other than that, it was perfection.
