Dreamcation to rest, disconnect and have fun
Paulina, Charlie, Diego and all other folks were amazing! Very kind, funny and always here for any question. The other big plus is the food. The palapa buffet has always been top notch with a large choice of food. Can't wait to come back <3 thanks again for everything

BEST STAFF EVER
I have been to this resort numerous times. I have also been to several Catalonia resorts. We always come back here. The property is amazing. The staff is second to none. Everyone is so hospitable and always smiling and wanting to make your stay as nice as possible. ALL of the staff is wonderful. Alexandro is always there for us. He makes sure we are having a great time and is willing to help us with anything we need. CeeCee, Maria and Maylen are rays of sunshine. They are so cute and we enjoy being around them. They always made sure our spot on the beach was available and taking care of reservations etc. The food everywhere was fabulous. Beloved is always so good. Queztebel (probably not spelled right) is at the buffet. She always greets with a smile. I always have to get a hug. I love all of the staff. We plan on coming back in September. It is absolutely our home away from home.

Fantastic Staff
Kitsabell (sp?) and Carlos are fantastic in the palapa (buffet). Diego is a wonderful person for entertainment. Raul, bartender in Beloved, is a master and Alex, waiter in Mamma Mia, do excellent jobs. These people made our holiday and will be why we return!

Fantastico
We stayed at CRT April 11-18. I would return to this resort, it would be fun for another couple trip or girls trip. We’re in the ages of 45-53 and found that we were an appropriate age group to be there. There were some 20-ish year olds but I would say the average age was 30s to 70s. We’re not party people staying up until 9:30 for the shows was a struggle! Price wise I think it was a decent price for what we got, we upgraded to privilege and enjoyed bloved restaurant, room service and I think they made better drinks at bloved than the Margarita Bar…but that could just be my imagination. I enjoyed early morning lattes and mimosas with the friendly staff at bloved everyday. Sometimes my husband slept in so it was just me and the waves. The food is good, I enjoyed avocado on toast and yogurt, I don’t stray far from my normal foods so I can’t comment on the more elaborate meals they offer. I think the upgrade was worth it to have bloved. I’m sorry I don’t know the names of the staff at bloved but you all deserve a pat on the back for being so attentive and caring, my mimosa man and lady you know who you’re! I’ll see you again sometime! And the young hostess with the braces you put a smile on my face every day ❤️ thank you from room 4115- no allergies 😉 These are all 10/10 The grounds, clean and beautifully maintained. The workers, in every department they are helpful and attentive and they work very hard to make your stay enjoyable, the main points of contact all speak English and are always happy to help. I appreciate the front desk making change for the large pesos my bank gave me, also some of the bartenders were able to make change, the workers are happy with either US or pesos but I didn’t want to exchange my Canadian into US during this crazy time. Please tip these people! I took around 700$ for tipping and didn’t come back with any. 8/10 food, I’m not a picky eater and I truly just eat because I have to to survive and soak up the booze lol I’m sure some of the food is amazing we had mama Mia three times no complaints there, bloved salmon was delicious a chicken meal there was yummy as well. The steak house was probably my least favourite…I had the chicken and it wasn’t the greatest. The buffet for breakfast and lunch was full of selection, very clean and fresh foods. My husband enjoyed the buffets for breakfast and lunch. The buffet was very clean and organized! No issues from the food what so ever. 8/10 drinks, I can only handle so many fruity slushy drinks so I can’t comment much on those, the ones I had were yummy! I found they add a simple syrup into lots of things that seemed to change the taste for me, I learned to ask for drinks without it. The Prosecco was good and crisp, mimosas were good, mango marg and a classic marg from bloved on ice were great. Only one beer modelo to choose from, it filled the beer need, they have Clamato so enjoy that in your beer or have a Caesar! I found there portion sizes huge! I do t know how anyone could finish a giant margarita lol 7/10 room, I don’t spend a lot of time in the room but as per usual in the Caribbean there’s moisture and a musty smell, that’s to be expected. I take air fresheners and this year I brought damp bags…they may have helped. The bed was firm and not the most comfortable, the pillows were amazing and comfy, linens were clean as the towels were as well, room was cleaned everyday, only 1 tiny garbage in the bathroom that was kinda annoying. Mini fridge was stocked daily by the housekeeper, water was easy to get from them at anytime. I tipped 100-200 pesos a day for the cleaners. They work hard to keep us happy. 9/10 entertainment staff, they are always busy getting people involved, I didn’t partake in too many activities, played bingo and stretched 1 day, we enjoyed a couple nightly shows Rauxa, Michael Jackson and Karaoke night, they work very hard and always have a smile on their face. They have very long days trying to keep people happy. 10/10 beach, it was stunning everyday. We only had sargassum one day and that was our last day . The workers keep that beach pristine! No garbage, or plastic water bottles or cups littering the place. Ample beach chairs in the privileged area. 10/10 pool, nice and crystal clear and clean, very large! Lots of umbrellas, I was down around 7:30 am getting chairs, lots of people did this and it seemed that everyone had a place to be. If you came down around 11 you might not get a spot by the pool. It seemed as all the chairs that were saved were actually used so that was good. 6/10 smoking , there were some people walking around the pool smoking, I found that annoying since they shouldn’t be doing that, then some guy smoking a cigar right by the buffet…like go away! 9/10 critters, I found this resort to have a very good handle on the coaties, there was the odd one around the the pool once or twice a day. They don’t allow you to bring your food to the pool so that keeps them at bay, no garbage for them to get into helps. One of them did climb a tree above me at the pool and it tore apart a birds nest eating all the babies, a little disturbing but that’s nature for ya. I would highly recommended this place for a great couples vacation
